While you’re stuffing yourself with your assorted Turkey Day offerings, take a look at some of these NFL Props Picks from Bet365 to make your Thanksgiving Day celebration a profitable one as well.

Ameer Abdullah O/U 39.5 Rushing Yards
Last week it appeared as if Ameer Abdullah got out of the dog house, as he ran the ball 14 times. However, the rookie wall might be catching up to the Lions’ young running back, because despite the fact that he hasn’t been utilized much this season, he is averaging less than 3.5 yards per carry in his last three games. Even though he might still get the volume that he received over the last week, I doubt he gets a chance to go over 40 yards unless he rips off a long run for 10-20 yards. This week against the Eagles, the game script might change, and despite the fact that the Eagles have been looking awful and the Lions have looked better under Jim Bob Cooter, Philly might find a way to jump out to a lead in this one, which could hurt Abdullah’s chances. Even though Joique Bell didn’t get the carries last week, he could easily syphon some away from Abdullah this week too, so with so much unknown, I am going with the under here for my first NFL pick of the day.

My NFL Pick: UNDER 39.5 (-120)

Carolina Panthers O/U 22.5 points
After a warm-up between the Eagles and Lions, the next game on the holiday slate should be a good one, as the Panthers head into Dallas to try and stay undefeated against a desperate Cowboys club. The NFL Odds have the Cowboys as -1 favorites in this one, but the Panthers’ team total of only 22.5 is where I’m looking at for this prop pick. With Tony Romo back, the sportsbooks are slightly overvaluing the Cowboys in the NFL odds, and it’s leaving some room for a potential play on the very good Panthers. With Romo back it will definitely take some pressure off the defense, but Romo can’t play middle linebacker either. The Cowboys are still going to be poor at stopping the run here, and if that’s the case I see the Panthers running the score to over 22 points here. Carolina is averaging close to 30 points per game this season, and the Dallas defense is not good enough to slow them down here. Look for a well-rounded game by the Panthers, and at least 24 points for one of the league’s last remaining undefeated teams.

My NFL Pick: OVER 22.5 points (-120)

Aaron Rodgers O/U 260.5 passing yards
The Packers are another team that have not looked good this season, but a home game against Chicago might be just what they need. Aaron Rodgers only threw the ball 23 times in the Packers’ Week 1 meeting with the Bears, and with Rodgers having to throw the ball an average of 48 times per game in the last three games, I see more of the same against the Bears. It’s true that the Bears haven’t given up much in regards to yards through the air this season, however, their last three games teams have done better against them through the air, even though it was Brock Osweiler and Nick Foles in two of the three games. If Rodgers can get it back to the volume and performance from the two weeks prior to Week 11, the over in this one is a great Thanksgiving prop. Last season Rodgers averaged more than 300 yards per game against Chicago. Even with some rain and a little wind in the forecast, I see the over as the play.

My NFL Pick: OVR 260.5 passing yards (-120) at Bet365
