The teaser is always a nice way to add value to your week-to-week NFL Picks, and as we get further into the season, they become even more important. NFL Odds are getting harder to beat as the season goes on, but here are three, six-point teasers that should help beat the books.

Falcons & Ravens
The Falcons are on the road again this week, a place that has not been kind to them. However knowing that, I think the sportsbooks are undervaluing them just enough to have some teaser value with Atlanta. I sincerely doubt the Falcons could lose this game by more than 10 points, and a teaser conveniently makes the Falcons a +10 ½ NFL Odds underdog. The Giants may have found their stride, and I doubt the Falcons defense will put up much of a fight, but the Giants are not good enough to blow out the Falcons here.

On the other side of this teaser, the Ravens are on the road in Indianapolis, and the NFL Odds have the Ravens as +3 ½ underdogs. While the Colts have been putting up impressive numbers, they have been doing it against sub-par competition in the AFC South over the last two weeks. The Ravens and their defense pose a much bigger threat to the Colts. Indy’s defense is far from good, and even though their offense is one of the best in the NFL, the Ravens have a pretty solid offense as well. Right now through four weeks Baltimore ranks in the top 12 in both rushing and passing, and teasing them up to +9 ½ makes this free pick extra sweet looking.

NFL Pick: Falcons +10 ½ & Ravens +9 ½

Rams & Bears
Another few underdogs I’m excited about this week are the Bears and Rams. After getting knocked around in Week 4, the Eagles head back home to play the Rams, and the NFL Odds have them as a touchdown favorite. The Rams are fresh off a bye, and while they aren’t great, if they can continue to get pressure on the Eagles due to Philly’s offensive line issues, St. Louis could easily cover their teaser odds of +13. Philadelphia started the season hot, but if they can’t protect the quarterback in this offense, the Rams are going to stay within two scores.

Chicago got beat up by the Packers in Week 4, but they have a much more favorable matchup in Week 5 against the Panthers. Even though the game is in Carolina, the NFL Odds have the Panthers as only -2 ½ favorites. Carolina is dealing with some major injury issues at running back, and that makes their offense very easy to plan for. Carolina is 0-5 ATS in their last five games after rushing for fewer than 90 yards in their previous game, and after getting embarrassed in Week 4, I see the Bears bouncing back.

NFL Pick: Rams +13 & Bears +8 ½

Steelers & Chargers
The Steelers are one of the most frustrating teams in regards to their NFL Odds this season, but here on the road in Jacksonville, if they can’t cover their teaser odds of -1, I am giving up all hope. The Jaguars have been one of the worst teams in the league this season, and even starting Blake Bortles won’t give them a chance to upset the Steelers. Betting Pittsburgh on the normal spread is questionable, but their teaser odds should be good here.

On the other side we have the Chargers at home against the Jets, and in a similar situation. They are a -6 ½ or -7 favorite, and teasing them down to -1 or a pick em’ should be a solid bet. New York has to travel across country for this game, and the Chargers have one of the most balanced teams in the league. Their running game is a bit weak right now, but the Jets stop anything on the ground anyway. The Chargers and Phillip Rivers will once again throw their way to victory, and I expect it to be a solid add to our NFL Picks this week.

NFL Pick: Steelers -1 & Chargers -1
