Even though it's Week 10 of the NFL regular season this week, it's really the halfway point as now every team has played at least eight games. It was a below-par Week 9 on my Bovada NFL special prop picks so expect a bounce back this week.

Will Roethlisberger Throw at Least Six TD Passes vs. Jets in Week 10: Yes-Only +2500

Will Roethlisberger Throw an Interception: Yes -130 on NFL odds, No Even Money

Total Passing Yards for Big Ben: 280.5, with Both -115 at Sportsbooks
With all due respect to Tom Brady and Andrew Luck, Roethlisberger has been the biggest story of the past two weeks in the NFL. In a Week 8 home rout of Luck's Colts, he threw for a franchise-record 522 yards and six touchdowns to become the first player ever with two career 500-yard games. Last Sunday in a home rout of Baltimore, Big Ben threw for 340 yards and six scores to become the first player ever with back-to-back six-TD games. Only Y.A. Tittle even has two of them in one season (1962). Roethlisberger has jumped to +600 on Bovada's NFL odds to win MVP. Roethlisberger has thrown only three interceptions all season and just one in the past seven games. The Jets are No. 12 against the pass, allowing 231.0 yards per game. They are last in the NFL with one interception.

NFL free picks: Just for a point of comparison, when Peyton Manning visited the Jets a few weeks ago he threw for 237 yards, three TDs and no picks. Can't obviously recommend that Big Ben will have another six-TD game. Go 'under' the passing yards as Roethlisberger hasn't been quite as good on the road and yes on an interception -- it could come on a Hail Mary or something.

Mark Sanchez vs. Panthers on Monday: 'Over/Under' 250.5 Yards, 1.5 TD passes

Will Jeremy Maclin Have at Least 150 Yards Receiving and Score at Least Two TDs: yes-only +1500
Both options are -115 on NFL odds for Sanchez's yardage and 'over' is a -150 favorite for the touchdowns. Sanchez, the Philadelphia Eagles' backup quarterback, will make his first start since the end of the 2012 season -- back when he was known as "Buttfumble" Sanchez with the Jets -- on Monday against visiting Carolina. That's because Nick Foles broke his collarbone early last week against the Texans and could miss the rest of the regular season. Sanchez was solid in his place, throwing for 202 yards and two touchdowns. One of those was an 8-yarder to Maclin, who also caught a 59-yard TD from Foles in the first quarter. Maclin had 158 yards and those two scores a week after 187 yards and two scores in a loss to Arizona. Those are his only two-TD games of the year and he has one other 150-yard game.  Carolina allows an average of 246.2 yards per game. It has allowed 18 TD passes and only four teams have given up more.

NFL free picks: Many believe any quarterback can thrive in Chip Kelly's offense. 'Over' for your NFL picks on Sanchez's props but no on Maclin.

How Many Sacks Will Justin Houston Have This Season: 'Over/Under' 18

Will Houston Break the Single Season Sack Record of 22.5
Both options are -115 on NFL odds for Houston's total and no is a -700 sportsbook favorite on the sack record with yes at +400. Houston, the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, is making himself a fortune because he can become a free agent after this season, although it's likely at worst the Chiefs slap the franchise tag on him. Houston leads the NFL by a wide margin with 12 sacks. If you are wondering, yes the Chiefs have had their bye week already. Houston has had a sack every game but Week 2 at Denver and has five combined the past two games. He is on pace for 24.

NFL free picks: Houston should be able to get at least six more in the next eight games if healthy, and as noted has a new contract as motivation to stay on the field. Go 'over' the NFL odds total but no on the record. He finishes with 20.

Will the Jets Finish the Season 1-15: Yes-Only at +700
Hard to see the one-win Jets favored the rest of the way. The schedule: vs. Pittsburgh, bye week, at Buffalo, vs. Miami, at Minnesota, at Tennessee, vs. New England, at Miami.  The Vikings and Titans aren't very good. New England and Miami may have little to play for that late in season. They could upset the Steelers on Sunday.

NFL free pick: No.
