There were several Bovada good NFL props for Week 14 so I've broken them up into two stories. Check out my picks on some quarterback props from the site. Here are my recommendations for some other NFL betting options.
Who Wins NFL Offensive Rookie of The Year?
On NFL odds, Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston has shot into the favored role at -200, with Tennessee QB Marcus Mariota at +300, St. Louis running back Todd Gurley at +705 and Oakland receiver Amari Cooper at +750. Not many weeks ago, this was Gurley's award to lose. He got off to a record-breaking start with four straight games of at least 125 yards in his first four NFL starts. But Gurley has struggled since then with a high of 89 yards and three games under 50. It's not really his fault. The Rams are so bad at quarterback, whether it's Nick Foles or Case Keenum, that defenses are loading the box to stop Gurley and dare the QBs to beat them. And they aren't. St. Louis hasn't won since Gurley's last big game. Winston has led the Bucs to three wins in their past four games and they are in the wild-card race. He has just four interceptions in his past eight games compared to seven in his first four. Mariota is the second rookie in NFL history to throw at least three touchdown passes in four games but his Titans are terrible. Voters will pay attention to a rookie team's success -- especially if the rookie is a quarterback. Cooper will be one of the NFL's best receivers soon and has 62 catches for 920 yards and four scores but won't win this.
NFL Picks: Winston.
Will Mike Pettine Be Coach of Browns In Week 1 of 2016 Season?
No is -1000 and yes is +500. Last week I looked at a similar prop for the Rams' Jeff Fisher for your NFL picks and said no. Think I feel even stronger on no here. The Browns are going backward at 2-10 and might not win a game the rest of the season. Pettine has bounced around quarterbacks from Josh McCown to Johnny Manziel to McCown again to Austin Davis and back to Manziel this week. All you need to know about the Browns is that the none of the past three coaches before Pettine, Rob Chudzinski, Pat Shurmur or Eric Mangini, lasted more than two seasons. This is Year 2 for Pettine and he's 9-19. The Browns will totally clean house and hope to lure a big-name coach with the lure of a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 draft -- the team would have it by losing out.
NFL Picks: No chance.
LeSean McCoy 'Over/Under' 89.5 Rushing Yards - Will McCoy Score A Touchdown?
Both options on the yardage prop are -120, no is a -130 favorite on the touchdown and yes even money. Perhaps no player in the NFL will be more motivated to have big game in Week 14 than McCoy. His Buffalo Bills visit Philadelphia on Sunday and LeSean McCoy, a Pennsylvania native, was not at all happy he was traded to Buffalo by Eagles coach Chip Kelly -- who then signed DeMarco Murray. McCoy basically called Kelly a racist saying he was shipping "all the good black players" out of town. McCoy hasn't spoken to Kelly since the trade and said he has never received an explanation: "I'm not talking to Chip (Kelly). We got nothing to talk about. He can't call me. He can't shake my hand. There's nothing he can do with me. He can't say s--- to me. It's as simple as that." So, yeah, it's personal. And certainly Bills coach Rex Ryan knows that. If he can get McCoy into the end zone, Ryan will.
NFL Picks: 'Over' and yes.
Will Falcons Finish Season With 9 Straight Losses?
Will Rams Finish Season With 9 Straight Losses?
No is -1500 and yes +700 for Atlanta and no -2000 and yes +900 for St. Louis. Hard to believe Atlanta was 5-0 once. Its only win in the past seven was a squeaker at Tennessee. Atlanta is a big underdog this week at Carolina, then visits Jacksonville, hosts Carolina and hosts New Orleans. Will Panthers still have something to play for in Week 16? Saints won't in finale. The Rams haven't scored more than 18 points in their five-game skid thanks to their sorry quarterbacks. St. Louis hosts Detroit this week and Tampa Bay next before closing at Seattle and at San Francisco.
NFL Picks: Doubt either happens but I'd give the Falcons a better shot of doing so. Rams will beat either the Lions or Bucs.
