There has been heavy early movement on all four NFL Wild Card playoff games, with the Sharps heavily backing three home favorites, the Texans, Seahawks, and Steelers. Let’s look at all these early moves and see if there is a pick worth considering.

 Oakland Raiders vs Houston Texans

Saturday, January 7, 2017— 4:35 pm ET
Open: Texans -1½
Monday: Texans -3½ (5Dimes)

A 2-point move on Texans money in this AFC Wild Card matchup from NRG Stadium in Houston with the total bet down from 37½ to 36½ probably because of the Texans ferocious Defense (#1 Total) and Oakland forced to go with Matt McGloin with QB Derek Carr (Fibula) done for the season.

The Raiders (12-4 SU) will go with McGloin and maybe Connor Cook. With McGloin, however, bettors are backing Brock Osweiler or Tom Savage and the Texans who may get Lamar Miller back. These two met in the regular season in Mexico City with the Raiders winning, 27-20.

Detroit Lions vs Seattle Seahawks

Saturday, January 7, 2017— 8:15 pm ET
Open: Seahawks -7½
Monday: Seahawks -9 +100 (5Dimes)

A slight move on Seahawks money in this NFC Wild Card matchup from CenturyLink Field in Seattle with the total down from 43 to 42½. Like Oakland, the Lions could have won their division and not ended up on the Road, facing one of the NFL’s best Defenses (18.3 ppg, #3).

Perhaps bettors are wary of the Seahawks ability to score (22.1 ppg, #12 NFL) or laying the 8 with Seattle (117 Penalties, #7 NFL) with the point spread more than a TD at offshore sportsbooks. Lions QB Stafford is 5-43 SU lifetime vs. teams which finish with winning records and Detroit hasn’t won a Playoff game since 1991.

Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday, January 8, 2017— 1:05 pm ET
Open: Steelers -7½
Monday: Steelers -10½ +110 (5Dimes)

The NFL odds board reveals a 3-point move on Pittsburgh and the sharps backing a rested Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers makes sense in this AFC Wild Card matchup from Heinz Field in The Steel City Sunday.

With Big Ben and Ryan Tannehill and Antonio Brown and Jarvis Landry, there should be points. Pittsburgh’s 6-1 ATS L7 Home Playoff games but Miami’s 4-1 ATS L5 meetings.

N.Y. Giants vs Green Bay Packers

Sunday, January 8, 2017— 4:40 pm ET
Open: Packers -6½
Monday: Packers -4 -115 (BetOnline)

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers earned this precious Home-field game beating the Lions but the early money in this NFC Wild Card matchup has been on the Giants and it’s no surprise with New York 9-0 ATS L9 Road Playoff games and 4-0-1 ATS L5 in this series.
