Week 7 is almost upon us, and with 24 hours to go before kick off of the early games, it’s time to start taking a look at the newly released prop NFL Odds. There are several good values at bet365 this week, and I have three props you should add to your NFL Picks.
Eli Manning O/U 243.5 passing yards
Eli Manning and the Giants had their worst game of the season last week. On the road against the Eagles, they became only the second team to be shut out this season, and ironically now both New York teams have been blanked this year. Now the Giants head back on the road to play the Cowboys, and the NFL Odds have the Boys as -6 ½ favorites, with a total of 47 ½ points.
However bet365’s player prop on Manning’s passing yards look pretty good this week for the over. For one, the number is lower than I expected after that horrific start last week, but I think that was just an anomaly. Second however, the Cowboys’ defense’ pass defense is worse than their numbers project. So far this season, the Cowboys have played pretty bad passing teams outside of the Saints, and even with the injury to Victor Cruz, the Giants have enough to give Manning a big game here. The Giants can’t run the ball that well either, which should also help Manning get above 243 passing yards.
NFL Pick: OVER 243.5 passing yards (-140)
Odell Beckham Jr. TD Scored
However with that injury to Cruz, the Giants need another receiver to step up and play the outside, and Odell Beckham Jr. looks ready to take on that roll. Beckham is going to start now for the Giants, and even though he is a rookie and hasn’t played that much, his NFL Odds of getting into the end zone are high this week. Manning looks for him in the red zone, and with a lack of a running game and a number one receiver threat, Beckham should get plenty of touches. Last week with Cruz in for some of the game, Beckham still played more than 50% of the snaps, and scored a TD. This week being on the field more almost turns this +137 NFL Odds value into a steal.
NFL Pick: Odell Beckham TD Scored (+137)
Mark Ingram TD Scored
The Saints have been without Mark Ingram for several weeks after he got hurt, however he has been back at practice this week, and should take over for Khiry Robinson as the Saints’ lead back. This does some things against your fantasy teams, but for this week’s NFL Odds, it gives us a chance at some value. Ingram has always been the Saints’ goal line back, and he should get some shots at the end zone this week against the Lions. Even though the Lions’ stop the run well, if Jimmy Graham can’t play, it puts even more pressure on the Saints to run the ball, both in between the 20s and inside the red zone. Ingram could get some looks in this game to score, and with his NFL Odds at +125 to score, add him to your NFL Picks for some extra value this Sunday.
NFL Pick: Mark Ingram TD Scored (+125)
