Seahawks are -2.5 ATS with a total of 41 across the board in one of those tricky 1:00 p.m games this Sunday when they visit the New York Jets. Join expert capper for his betting preview which concludes with his NFL pick.

Seahawks What To Watch For
The spread certainly could change depending on Wilson. In the third quarter of the Seattle's Week 3 37-18 win over San Francisco, Wilson's leg bent in a way that legs aren't really supposed to bend as he was sacked by the 49ers' Eli Harold. Wilson finished off that drive but then was replaced by undrafted rookie Trevone Boykin, the former TCU star. Wilson has been diagnosed with an MCL sprain in that knee. That's good news and Pete Carroll thinks Wilson will practice Wednesday and could play vs. the Jets. Wilson also has been dealing with an ankle injury suffered in Week 1, but he has yet to miss a start in his career. Think the Seahawks regret not adding an experienced backup QB this offseason?

Seattle entered last week's game having scored just 15 points combined the first two weeks. The Seahawks topped that total midway through the second quarter against the 49ers.  Top receiver Doug Baldwin was questionable to play with a knee injury but did and caught eight passes for 164 yards and a TD. However, No. 1 running back Thomas Rawls was out with a leg injury and won't play vs. the Jets. Christine Michael was terrific in his spot vs. the Niners with 20 carries for 106 yards and two scores.

While the Seahawks offense is banged up and has been inconsistent, that Seattle defense has been typically good and leads the NFL in yards allowed at 250.3 per game. It is No. 2 in scoring defense (12.3 ppg)  and against the pass (162.7 ypg).

Seattle is 1-2 ATS on NFL betting odds and 1-2 O/U.

Jets What To Watch For
I really hope you didn't start Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on your fantasy team last week as he had one of the worst games by a QB in NFL history and that's not hyperbole. Fitzpatrick was a ghastly 20-for-44 for 188 yards with six interceptions in a 24-3 loss at Kansas City. The picks tied a franchise record.

One of Fitzpatrick's picks was returned for a touchdown and he had three red zone interceptions in a span of five attempts. That's amazing considering Fitzpatrick had only three red zone interceptions in his previous 192 attempts dating to 2012. Chiefs defenders caught six of Fitzpatrick's passes while his two star receivers, Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, combined for four catches. It was the most interceptions in any game since Detroit's Ty Detmer tossed an NFL-record-tying seven in 2001. New York had eight turnovers overall, its most since 1975.

How will Fitzpatrick bounce back? It's the 12th time he has thrown at least three picks in a game. Three of those were in Fitzpatrick's final game of the season so we will throw those out. Fitzpatrick's teams are 4-5 in the games immediately following his three-INT games. He has never thrown for more than 300 yards following a three-interception performance. He has thrown at least one interception in seven of the nine games.

The Jets are 1-2 ATS on NFL picks and 2-1 O/U.

Seattle Seahawks vs N.Y. Jets
I think the Seahawks might sit Wilson as they have a bye after this game and he can get two weeks of rest. Even if he plays, his mobility likely will be gone. Take the Jets and love the 'under' for your NFL week 4 picks
