San Fran has lost 3 in a row after winning their opener & they've looked poor on both sides of the ball. The Giants have won two in a row and could keep it rolling as they host the lethargic 49ers.

Opening Odds & Line Movement

Open: -7 +100 at Pinnacle
The Giants opened up as seven-point home favorites and the NFL odds have gone down to -6.5 for the home team. This line could be higher, that is how bad the 49ers have looked recently, although the defense did alright in a 17-3 loss at home to Green Bay. The San Francisco offense is 30th in the league in yards for, but they might want to lean on a ground game that is fifth in the NFL because they're dead last in the air. Only Houston's Ryan Mallett and Indianapolis' Andrew Luck have a worse QB rating than Colin Kaepernick, who has two touchdowns and five picks. The Giants are last in the league in yards allowing through the air, so if Kaepernick is going to turn it around, it would be this weekend.

For San Francisco, WR Quinton Patton has to go through concussion protocol before he can be clearned, while TE Vernon Davis has a knee injury. It doesn't seem to be serious, but Davis is questionable for Sunday night, so watch out for that.

TE Daniel Fells is out for the season with a foot injury, while LB Devon Kennard has a hamstring that is bothering him and he is questionable. The Fells injury is concerning because it is a staph infection and even though the Giants have cleaned and disinfected everywhere they've deemed necessary, teams in the past have had this go through the roster and it wouldn't be a surprise if another player popped up with it.

The 49ers are a miserable 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games, while the Giants are 6-2 ATS in their last eight. San Francisco is also 1-4 ATS in their last five on the road, and the Giants are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 at home. The Giants have gone over in four of their last six, while the 49ers have gone under in eight of their last 11; this game's total sits at 43.

The Giants are 5-5 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings with San Francisco, who are 5-5 SU and 4-5-1 ATS in their last 10 road games against the Giants.
