Week 10 has plenty to offer as we review the NFL odds and hone in on the sharpest sides on the board. Let's bust your bookie with these top NFL picks.

Swinger’s 2017 NFL Record: 9-16 ATS (-19.8 Units)

Last week we kissed our sister with a 1-1 ATS split and paid the vig for the privilege. We had three units on the Bengals, which turned into a money-burner as they flamed hard against the Jags in a 23-7 loss. I'm not sure why I keep going back to that poisoned well as Cincinnati is nothing more than an also-ran this season, yet I keep believing the Bengals will prove they are more than that. I'm done.

On the flip side, we cashed with an easy winner in the Arizona Cardinals playing the worst team in football and laying not even a field goal. Ice cream baby, as the Redbirds walked into the Bay Area and skipped out with a 20-10 win over the Niners. Oh, and I forgot to write up my third pick last week, which of course was a winner when the Lions defeated the Packers on Monday night. That ATS cover is not reflected in my record because it was not in last week's column. Let's keep grinding and steer our way out of this morass. I see several good spots this week that will significantly cut our deficit. Let's go!

Vikings at Redskins (+1½)

We won't need the point and a half but we'll take it anyway. The Redskins defense has missed their secondary superstars Josh Norman and DeAngelo Hall, but they are both back in uniform and that will severely limit Minnesota's passing options. The Vikings are a plodding team that wins because of its defense as opposed to offense. Minnesota's Case Keenum will need time in the pocket to target his receivers, and he may not get that time with Washington's edge rushers bringing the heat.

In addition, the Skins have a much more capable QB with Kirk Cousins, who led a last-minute charge to beat the Seahawks on the road in a 17-14 victory last week. This week he is at home and playing against a similar foe defensively but one without a dynamic quarterback under center like Russell Wilson. Add Washington to your NFL picks.

Chargers (+4) at Jaguars

The Jags have a terrific defense, but their offense could use some work. Jacksonville's Blake Bortles is going to feel the pain from the best pass-rushing tandem in the league when Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram come knocking. Bortles has talent but little composure, and the relentless pressure he will get from the Bolts' defensive front will cause mistakes and turnovers. I will take the Chargers' Philip Rivers any day of the week and twice on Sunday over Bortles, and Rivers will not only get us the cover but the outright win in Jacksonville. Nevertheless, we'll take the points just in case.

Saints at Bills (+3)

Terron Armstead. You may not know that name, but Drew Brees certainly does and that's because he is critical in keeping the future Hall of Famer's uniform clean. Yes, he is the blindside tackle who may not be suiting up Sunday. That could very well turn the tide against the Saints and give the Bills a huge opportunity to pressure Brees.

I like the Bills in this spot because Tyrod Taylor is making a difference this season in Buffalo and has enough weapons at his disposal to make life uncomfortable for this improved Saints defense. He is an elusive quarterback who can handle good but not great defenses like New Orleans and has a defense of his own that is among one of the best this year. There's nothing better than a home dog, and we have a live one here.

The Woodman’s Corner (7-2 ATS, +4.8 Units)

The man is like a locomotive going downhill, you just can't stop him. Yes, the Woodman cashed again last week as he selected the LA Rams as his top play of the week, and it was never even close. The Rams dominated the Giants from box to wire, and when the dust settled LA swaggered out with a 51-17 victory. Don't you wish they could all be that easy?

The Woodman returns this week after reviewing the NFL odds and declares the Green Bay Packers as the object of his desire. The Cheeseheads have been floundering since Aaron Rodgers succumbed to injury, but the Woodman loves his points and the Packers will get a full 6 of them as they head into the Windy City to meet the Bears. May your glorious run continue Woodman.
