A pair of desperate 0-2 teams meet trying to avoid a third consecutive loss when the Tennessee Titans host the Las Vegas Raiders. We're breaking down the betting angles with our Raiders-Titans picks.

The Las Vegas Raiders have started a season 0-2 for the first time since 2018, but last week's loss was not just any old loss. The Raiders found every possible way to lose their home opener, and in the end, the 20-point lead they let slip away was their largest blown lead in franchise history, surpassing the 18-point lead they lost in a 2011 game at the Buffalo Bills.

Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans have gone from No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs last year to in danger of missing the playoffs this season.

Here are our Raiders-Titans NFL picks for Week 3 (odds via PointsBet, FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Raiders vs. Titans Odds Analysis

Las Vegas has been bet up from -1 to -2 or -2.5 at most sportsbooks. The largest wagers have backed the underdog Titans, who have attracted 38% of the tickets and 55% of the cash.

The total has been much more volatile than the point spread, moving as much as two points from 49.5 down to 47.5. Sharps have pounded the Under, as just 45% of the tickets, but 81% of the cash has landed on that side.

Raiders vs. Titans ATS Pick

Raiders -2 (-107) ★★★

Tennessee was held to just 187 yards in their Monday night debacle against Buffalo, the second-lowest total under head coach Mike Vrabel. The 34-point loss was also the largest in the Vrabel era. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill had his fifth game with multiple interceptions against the Bills.

The Titans of 2021 were built as a physical, smash-mouth football team. However, they have nowhere near that semblance of identity because of injuries and departures. Left tackle Taylor Lewan left Monday's game with an injury. In addition, left guard Rodger Saffold played for the other team in Week 2 after signing with the Bills, and the Titans have a rookie at right tackle. Not to mention, their most talented wideout, A.J. Brown, is already making a massive difference in the Philadelphia Eagles offense.

All these offensive deficiencies are a big reason All-Pro running back Derrick Henry had just seven rushing yards before contact in Week 2, his fewest of the last three seasons. The Titans' struggles will continue without any game-breakers on offense and a patchwork offensive line.

Raiders vs. Titans O/U Pick

Under 46.5 (-112) ★★

After racing out to a 20-0 halftime lead over Arizona, Las Vegas inexplicably changed its defensive approach in the second half, which ultimately cost it the game. In their first-half shutout, the Raiders allowed 86 yards, blitzed on 30% of plays, and had a 40% pressure percentage. In the second half, the Raiders allowed 23 points, 284 yards, blitzed on just 16% of plays, and had a 19% pressure percentage.

Thus, the Raiders assumed they could get pressure from their combined $200-million defensive ends, Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones, but expect Josh McDaniels and the Raiders coaching staff to learn from their mistakes and dial up more pressure consistently this week.

Raiders vs. Titans Prop Pick

Tannehill Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (-210) ★★★

The Raiders allowed 29 touchdown passes and had six interceptions last season, which was the worst TD-INT ratio of any defense in the league. However, Tennessee's offense is not built to take advantage of a weak secondary like the Los Angeles Chargers and Cardinals were. Tannehill's best and perhaps only reliable perimeter weapon is Robert Woods, who does not exactly strike fear in opposing defenses at this stage of his career.
