There is only Monday Night Football left to complete the preseason week 2 slate. We recap the betting results that are already in to determine how each team is performing against the market expectations.
NFL Preseason Week 2 Recap
Just Monday Night Football between the Bengals and Buccaneers remains to wrap up a thrilling second week of exhibition games. Cowboys vs. Niners, Rams vs. Falcons and Bengals vs. Bucs. With 15 games already in the books, though, we bring you an early summary of the NFL betting action, based on closing NFL odds as cited on Vegas Insider’s site.
As it is, another solid week for the home teams was recorded as they edge the visitors 10-5 SU. Where road teams improved was against the spread, slipping just 8-7-0 ATS compared to last week’s 11-5-0 ATS mark.
Similarly, favourites went 10-5-0 SU and 8-7-0 ATS against underdogs. Finally, it was another solid week for OVER bettors as through 15 games the OVER edged the UNDER 8-7-0.

How Did We Do Through The First 13 Games
With two weeks almost complete, we review how we performed with our NFL picks, using early NFL odds that were trading at the time of writing.
Table 2: How Our NFL Picks Performed Against Early Odds At The Time Of Writing
In our weekly, game-by-game ATS rundown, using early odds that were trading at the time of writing at Bet365, we emerge with a modest 7-7-1 mark. The Bills (+2.5), Chiefs (Even), Eagles (-3.5), Patriots (+1.0), Broncos (+3.0), Vikings (-5.0) and Niners (-3.5) all came through for us.
Just the Panthers (-1.0) pushed on our NFL picks in a 31-30 win over the Dolphins. By closing doors, however, the line settled on a 1.5-points, so those that backed the Dolphins as the 1.5-point dogs would have cashed. We got our money back, at least.
In our weekly, game-by-game over-under picks, we went a slightly better 8-7-0 through 15 games.
A Few Of The Takeaways From Week 2 Preseason NFL Action
The highly touted Miami Dolphins remain winless after two rounds of NFL preseason action, while the remaining AFC East field recorded their respective first win of the preseason in week 2. The Steelers snap a two-game losing streak with a win over Green Bay Packers. While the Colts continue without a win after suffering a 23-11 loss to the Chicago Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Denver Broncos are riding high after a two-game road winning streak over the Seahawks and Texans while the Eagles are soaring with back-to-back wins over the Colts and Ravens, both of which were offensive feasts that cracked the 50-total mark.
