SBR's top sportsbooks adjusted Super Bowl LII future odds this past week following the increased activity spurred on by the over-hyped NFL Draft. Compare the movement from February to now.

The 2017 NFL Draft is complete, the deadline for restricted free agency passed and 2017 regular-season schedule unveiled. For NFL bettors, this means one thing: a Super Bowl odds update. Sportsbooks adjusted futures recently following the flurry of activity. Let’s take a look at the updated numbers and explore which teams are moving up and down the board.

The reigning Lombardi Trophy holders New England Patriots remain the top betting choice to win Super Bowl LII. The Pats moved from +600 odds in early February to +425 at online sportsbook 5Dimes. Head coach Bill Belichick returns a title team largely unchanged and faces one of the league’s easiest schedules. Advanced point spreads show New England favored in every game this season. Its 12.5-win total is the highest for any team since 2009. As long as Tom Brady is under center, expect a winning season. He has produced one every year when healthy.

Second choice at 5Dimes remains the Dallas Cowboys, down to +950 from +1000 odds. This number is seeing opposite movement with Dallas slipping down the board at other outlets. William Hill US lists America’s Team at +800, a slight increase from +700 offered in February. The Oakland Raiders, always popular in Las Vegas and soon to call Sin City home, catapulted to second-favorites over the ‘Boys at +750 odds (+1200 in February). At 5Dimes, the Raiders sit in a three-way tie with the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers for fifth betting choice at +1250 odds.

Sandwiched as third and fourth offerings at the online book are the Seattle Seahawks (+1125) and Green Bay Packers (+1150). Each NFC powerhouse has seen a slight uptick in price, originally listed at +1100 in early February. Last May, both teams were +800 to win it all, second behind the Pats (+600).

The AFC West represented three teams in the top 10 offerings in February: the Raiders, Chiefs and Broncos. The latter two, each with few offensive playmakers and mediocre starting quarterbacks, have since slipped out of the top ranks. K.C. moved from +1900 to +2500, while Denver dipped to +2000 from a +1600 opener.

In addition to the Raiders, the New York Giants are seeing adjustment in their favor. The NFC East franchise moved from +1900 to +1500 odds. The always-competitive division has not crowned a repeat champion since the 2003-04 Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys are favored to win the division and NFC Championship (+475).

Other notable movement includes the Colts from +2750 to +4000 with news of Andrew Luck’s shoulder rehab, the Panthers from +2800 to +2500, Vikings +2800 to +3300 and Texans from +3750 to +2275.
