For a second straight week nailed down a 3-team parlay betting NFL football and picked up a sweet 6-to-1 payout. With only a dozen games remaining on the board, time to find fresh opportunities.
Again, be smart and don't go overboard with on parlay picks. My suggestion is to go after 2, 3 or 4 team parlays rather than having one wrong betting six or more teams and losing your hard earned money.
2-Team Parlay - Saints (-4.5) and Cowboys (-7)
Both New Orleans and Dallas are going up against the worst two teams in the NFL and should be able to put them away with relative each. While I'm the first to acknowledge the Saints do not play as well outdoors, since shutting out Los Angeles in Game 1 opener, San Francisco has allowed 36.5 points a game. This sets up nicely for Drew Brees and the guys to throw the ball all over the yard. Offensively, we already the Niners have serious limitations to what they can do, which plays into the Saints hands.
The only question about Dallas covering against Cleveland is their desire to play. They certainly can beat the Browns if they run the ball right at 31st ranked run defense with the NFL's top ground attack. Other factors are in play and the Cowboys have typically played better on the road an at home and are 6-0 ATS away off a SU home victory. More bad for Cleveland fans besides losing World Series, their team is 0-6 ATS as home underdogs recently.
3-Team Parlay - Eagles (+2.5) - Panthers (-3) - Vikings (-6)
In my network, there is a ton of sharp action on Philadelphia this week for them to win at the New York Giants. Let's not lose sight of the fact the Eagles are 8-1 SU and ATS at the home of the Giants.
Going forward, Carolina winning in convincing fashion last week was a sign this team will play much better the rest of the year. The Panthers played with more enthusiasm and aggressiveness and because the Panthers tend to be a team that either plays great or not so great and they bring it in Los Angeles, against a club without much offense.
Being back home will help Minnesota immensely after two terrible road games. The offense will show more spark and the change in philosophy could be a blessing for Sam Bradford. Detroit has been one of the worst road teams for years and is 12-34-1 ATS if opponent is off SU and ATS loss, making the Vikings good choice for NFL picks.
4-Team Money Line Parlay
My method on money line parlays is to take teams that are equipped to just win the game. This way you don't have to worry about spread. I have three strong favorites and underdog I am convinced can win their game. (See Odds Couple video with me Doug Upstone for Week 9).
Chiefs - Eagles - Cowboys - Packers
If correct, a $100 bet currently should pay $404 and change, which is really nice payout.
