We are now in the latter half of the NFL season, and every week brings bigger games. Week 9 leaves a ton of people on bye, but there are still some intriguing NFL Odds opening up this week. Here are some of the bigger games, and some that you may want to add to your NFL Picks.

Eagles vs. Texans
A week after getting edged out late in the 4th quarter in Arizona, the Eagles are back on the road in Week 9 facing off against the Texans. The NFL Odds have Houston as a +2 ½ home underdog at Bet365 in Week 9, but after easily taking care of the Titans, will the Texans be able to stay with the Eagles? Houston’s defense at times has been good this year, but they have also floundered some too. I expect this line to stay put for most of the week. As the year gets older, the NFL Odds won’t move so much unless there is news that breaks during the week.

Chargers vs. Dolphins
One of the more undervalued games of the week might be the Chargers heading into Miami to play the Dolphins. The NFL Odds have the Dolphins as -2 ½ favorites, and while the Chargers are a different team on the road, they are still a better team than the Dolphins. I expect the NFL Odds to move some for this game, because the Chargers are not nearly three points worse than the Dolphins, even on the road.

Broncos vs. Patriots
The marquee matchup of the week is the Broncos and Patriots, and with the NFL Odds favoring the Broncos on the road by -3, this should be the most entertaining game of the week. There are rumors out there that Marshawn Lynch may be getting shopped and the Patriots are the best team in the NFL in need of a running back. If he can come over, he may not have an impact on this game, but if these teams meet again in about nine or ten weeks, he would definitely have an impact. This week however, I doubt the line is going to move much from -3 Broncos.

Ravens vs. Steelers
The AFC North has a showdown this week, and coming off of an impressive win against the Colts, the Steelers are a -1 ½ favorite against the Ravens this week. Baltimore is dealing with some injuries on defense which is making this game a lot closer than it would have been three or four weeks ago, and after getting dominated on short rest earlier in the season, you know the Steelers will want to beat the Ravens at home this week.

Colts vs. Giants
Monday Night Football a week from tonight should once again be a great game. The Colts will want to bounce back after their defense was shredded by the Steelers, and even with some of the injuries they have been exposed to this week, the Colts are -3 NFL Odds favorites on the road.  New York had Week 8 off to rest and get healthy, and while there haven’t been any reports of this yet, with the extra day off this week, they may be able to get back Rashad Jennings this week. The Giants won’t be a pushover, however the spread for this game is close enough where I might lay off and go with some NFL Picks on the total instead.
