New week, same story: The Colts are without Andrew Luck and now it looks like the former No. 1 overall pick won’t play at all this season. Survivor Pick: Cincinnati.

Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals (-10, 41)

I realize both the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns are winless and that the Colts have two wins on the season – against, not coincidentally, the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns. But is there any team that’s more of a mess right now than Indy? That front office completely bungled the Andrew Luck situation; now he won’t be back before Thanksgiving – if at all in 2017. Yet the Colts kept telling anyone who would listen that Luck would be ready for training camp. Then, after Sunday’s 27-0 home embarrassment against Jacksonville, star receiver T.Y. Hilton publicly called out the offensive line because QB Jacoby Brissett was sacked 10 times and hit a total of 20: "We've got to take some pride up front and block for him," Hilton said after the game. "What if we put them back there and take those hits? We've got to start up front. Once we get the O-line going and back in rhythm, we will be fine." Hilton apologized Monday, but Coach Chuck Pagano has clearly lost this locker room. I see no reason why the Colts win another game this year. Pagano absolutely will not be back in 2018 and he could be fired by the time you read this.

  • Colts are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games.
  • Bengals are 11-4 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

Sunday was the first time the Colts were shut out in a regular-season game since Dec. 26, 1993! Colts owner Jim Irsay has never fired a coach during a season, but it could be coming. The Colts had just 72 yards of offense in the first half vs. the Jags and finished with only 232. The Bengals entered Week 7 with the NFL’s No. 2 defense and off their bye, but Cincinnati was pushed around in Pittsburgh, 29-14. Andy Dalton threw for just 140 yards and was picked off twice. On the bright side, top Cincinnati linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who has been in trouble with the league previously, will not be suspended for this game. It was a possibility after kicking Pittsburgh’s Roosevelt Nix during Sunday’s game, but Burfict will only be fined. That Bengals defense will be back in dominating form against the hapless Colts.

  • Under is 21-5 in Colts last 26 games following a double-digit loss at home.
  • Under is 11-2 in Bengals last 13 vs. a team with a losing record.
