Week 7 is just hours away, and with time not on our side, it’s a good idea to try and locate where the sharps are putting their NFL Picks. With several very interesting games, let’s see if we can find three NFL Odds that look to be driven by sharp money.

Vikings vs. Bills

While this game may not be the billboard game of the week, the NFL Odds value for the game could be very good. Right now the NFL Odds have the Bills as -5 ½ or even -6 favorites against the Vikings, with a total of 43 points. However even though it appears as if the bets are pretty evenly split for this game, the money being wagered is not. This is one of the signs that the sharps could be favoring one side. That side is the Bills laying points at home. Despite the wagers being split, the money on this game is firmly on the side of the Bills. According to our consensus data, the Bills are taking nearly 95% of the money being wagered on this game. You can still get the line at -5 ½, and with Teddy Bridgewater still coming off of an injury, the Bills may be a good play here.

Chiefs vs. Chargers

There are some out there who believe that the Chargers may be the best team in football, however this week they get a pretty tough task. The Chiefs’ running game is back on track, and this week the NFL Odds have Kansas City as a +3 underdog on the road, with a total of 45 points. Even though the Chargers have been mowing down folks, the Chiefs defense and running game might give them some trouble here, and the sharps seem to think the same way. Even though like above, the wagers are pretty evenly split, the money on this game firmly is favoring the Chiefs. According to our SBR Consensus data, KC is taking almost all of the money being wagered on this one. As -3 NFL Odds favorites, the Chargers could cover this game, but ultimately this game should be very close, and even with the large amount of money on one side, it might be a good game to just lay off of.

Giants vs. Cowboys

After getting embarrassed last week against the Eagles, the Giants get a chance at redemption, as they face the other winning team in the NFC East, the Cowboys. The NFL Odds have the Cowboys as solid -4 ½ favorites, however that line has been dropping some this week. That is a good indicator that there are some people who haven’t given up on the Giants after last week, and I don’t think you should either. According to our SBR data, the Giants are taking a majority of the wagers, and even more of a majority of the money. Four out of every five dollars being wagered on this game seem to be going to New York, and after some successes in the past against the Cowboys, people are placing their faith, and their NFL Picks on the Giants taking points. While you may have missed out on some better value when the line was higher, the Giants at +4 ½ could still hold an ounce of value.
