It’s the third London NFL game of the season, but this one starts at 1 p.m. ET instead of 9:30 a.m. as Arizona takes on the Rams in an NFC West matchup. Survivor Pick: LA Rams.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams (-3.5, 47)

I guess it’s nice for these two West Coast teams that they don’t have to play at 9:30 a.m. ET since that would obviously be at 6:30 a.m. local time. The Rams were part of the first NFL game at London's home of English rugby, Twickenham Stadium, last year but lost 17-10 to the Giants. Case Keenum was L.A.’s quarterback that day and terrible with four interceptions. The Rams come off a win in Jacksonville on Sunday and instead of flying all the way back to the West Coast and then overseas, the team was to stay in Florida until Thursday and then head over. New coach Sean McVay is hoping this revised travel plan will help the Rams stay fresh thanks to their extended time in the USA. The Cardinals and Rams split last year. In the desert, the Rams won 17-13 in Week 4. Tavon Austin returned a punt 47 yards to set up Keenum's 4-yard touchdown pass to Brian Quick with 2:36 to play. Carson Palmer left in the fourth with a concussion and backup Drew Stanton was intercepted twice in the final minutes, including on a Hail Mary on the game's final play. In Week 17 in L.A., the Cards rolled 44-6. Palmer had three TD passes.

  • Cardinals are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings.
  • Rams are 1-10-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. NFC.

The Cards’ offense blew up Sunday in a 38-33 home win over the Bucs and Arizona made some history.  Palmer threw three touchdown passes, running back Adrian Peterson rushed for two touchdowns in his Arizona debut, and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had a touchdown catch. Palmer has now accounted for 302 career touchdowns (294 passing), Peterson has 104 career TDs (99 rushing) and Fitzgerald has 107 career touchdown catches. They are the only QB-RB-WR trio of teammates in NFL history to account for at least 300, 100 and 100 total touchdowns, respectively. Peterson, who has 50 career games with at least 100 rushing yards, is the ninth player in NFL history with at least 100 rushing yards in 50 career games. He looked like a completely different player after that trade from New Orleans. The Rams lead the NFL in scoring and are off a 27-17 win at the Jags. Pharoh Cooper returned the opening kickoff 103 yards, one of two special teams touchdowns for L.A. It also returned a block punt for a score. The Rams hadn't started 3-0 away from home since 2001.

  • Over is 8-3 in Cardinals last 11 vs. NFC.
  • Over is 7-1 in Rams last 8 games overall.
