We crushed the bookie on Thursday Night Football with two big prop betting picks in that game. Now here we are on Sunday Night Football, with the win-less Giants against a tough Broncos defense. I have one big prop pick in this one, and with the injuries for the Giants, I think it’s a strong one.

Evan Engram O/U 4 ½ receptions

After a solid start to the season over the first four weeks, producing 19 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown, Evan Engram had a disappearing act last week. He was held without a catch against the Chargers, but that will not happen again this week.

The big reason for this is the fact that the Giants literally have no one to throw to. Odell Beckham is out for potentially the rest of the season if the Giants continue this horrible start, and Brandon Marshall was just placed on injured reserve.

Dwayne Harris was also placed on injured reserve, and with Sterling Shepard dealing with an ankle injury, the Giants are down to practice squad guys for their starting receivers.

Roger Lewis Jr. comes in as the new top guy this week for the Giants. The second-year pro out of Bowling Green does have two NFL starts, while Tavarres King and Travis Rudolph will also get some looks.

However, the Giants aren’t going to have much luck with those two against this talented Bronco secondary. That is where Engram comes in. I think he will be featured on Sunday night, simply because the Giants don’t have any better options. I expect Chris Harris Jr, and Aqib Talib to be all over the Giants’ wide outs. This should leave 8-to-10 targets for Engram.

Assuming he continues his solid play other than last week, Engram should have five or more catches in this game. Another big thing working in his favor is the Broncos’ defense. They are so good against receivers, that tight ends have had some success against them this season.

Over the last three weeks, the Broncos have allowed 228 yards on 22 catches and 2 touchdowns. Considering the volume potential for Engram as well, I’m all on the over for this one.
