Week 4 is already here and Thursday Night Football stands to be a great wagering opportunity when Dolphins and Bengals collide. For your Thursday NFL Picks, I have two player props for your betting enjoyment.

Jarvis Landry O/U 72.5 receiving yards
The Bengals’ defense has been far from high-powered to start the season. They gave up 29 points to the Broncos last week and while they rank 13th in yards allowed through the air so far through three weeks, they also allowed Trevor Siemian to throw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns last week at home.

Now on a short week, this Bengals defense isn’t going to get any better. We have cashed a player prop on Jarvis Landry, for now, two weeks in a row and the sportsbooks have still not gotten the fact that not only is Landry the Dolphins’ favorite target, he is good enough to shake off the Bengals’ defenders in this one.

Miami might also be playing from behind in this one, adding to a number of targets Landry should see in this one. He has posted double-digit targets in each of the first three games and with Dre Kirkpatrick and Derron Smith both looking like they could miss this game, the Dolphins’ passing game might take it up a notch tonight. Take the over with Landry for you NFL week 4 picks.

AJ Green O/U 92.5 receiving yards
Speaking of poor pass defenses, the Dolphins rank in the bottom half of the league in passing yards allowed through three weeks and their opponents have been a banged up Seahawks team, a Tom Brady-less Patriots team, and the Browns, who were using two different quarterbacks.

While I’ve never been an Andy Dalton fan, he is going to be without Tyler Eifert once again this week, which should once again lead to a big game from AJ Green. The Bengals’ number one receiver should be heavily involved in this one, especially against a poor pass defense.
With the way most of the Thursday night games have gone so far, we should see a higher scoring game in this one. Green is also averaging nearly 10 yards per target so far this season and while he had down games over the last two weeks, both were against stronger defenses in Denver and Pittsburgh.

Miami’s run defense has looked good, but their passing defense is susceptible to big plays. Green might grab a few long balls in this one, especially on a short week against a sore and banged up defense. Expect a lot of passing this week from both teams.
