It’s game No. 2 of the NFL’s London slate this week, meaning we have morning football on the East Coast of the USA! Both the Saints and Dolphins enter with one victory. Survivor Pick: Miami.

New Orleans Saints “at” Miami Dolphins (+2.5, 49)

The Dolphins might already be traveled out. Of course, they couldn’t play Week 1 in their home opener due to Hurricane Irma. The team flew early to California to prepare for its Week 2 game at the Chargers, a close win. Then Miami flew back to south Florida before heading up to New York late last week to face the Jets. It didn’t go well as a putrid Jets team pulled off a 20-6 upset. Now the Dolphins have to fly overseas for a “home” game. Miami also was nearly shut out by the Jets, only scoring on the game’s final play. The Saints were one of many underdogs to win outright in Week 3, surprising the Panthers in Charlotte 34-13.

  • Saints are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game.
  • Dolphins are 6-2 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

Which New Orleans defense shows up here? The one that allowed more than 1,000 yards and 65 points in a pair of lopsided losses to open the season or the one that held Carolina to 288 yards, forced three turnovers and sacked Cam Newton four times? The Fins will generally go only as far as running back Jay Ajayi takes them. He had 112 yards rushing in the win over the Chargers but just 16 yards on 11 carries vs. the Jets. Defenses are going to dare Jay Cutler to beat them. The Saints will get back a key offensive piece here as receiver Willie Snead returns from a three-game suspension. He had 72 catches for 895 yards and four TDs last year.

  • The over is 6-0 in the Saints’ past six games.
  • The over is 9-4 in the Dolphins’ past 13.
