It’s the 195th meeting (including playoffs) in the NFL’s oldest rivalry when the Bears and Packers face off from Lambeau Field on a Thursday night for a fourth straight season. Survivor Pick: Green Bay.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-7.5, 45.5)

Hard to know how much either side has left in the tank after both played in unusually hot conditions on Sunday and beat an AFC North foe in overtime. Chicago was a 7-point home dog and upset the Steelers 23-17 in OT thanks to 138 yards and two scores from Jordan Howard. He scored the winning points on a 19-yard OT run. The Bears had just 84 yards passing but 220 on the ground. Not sure that’s a formula that will keep working. Green Bay played without several injured starters Sunday in the hottest game ever at Lambeau Field and rallied for a 27-24 overtime win over Cincinnati. Aaron Rodgers threw for 313 yards and three scores, although he did have a rare pick-six. Rodgers is 14-4 during his career in regular-season games vs. the Bears with 38 touchdown passes and a rating north of 105.

  • The Packers are 0-4 ATS in their past four vs. teams with a losing record.
  • The Bears are 5-0 ATS in their past five vs. teams with a winning record.

Will Howard play for Chicago? He is dealing with a shoulder injury but obviously it didn’t slow him much vs. Pittsburgh as he also led the team in receiving. The Packers were without defensive lineman Mike Daniels (hip), linebackers Nick Perry (hand) and Jake Ryan (concussion/hamstring), cornerback Davon House (quad), receiver Randall Cobb (chest) and left tackle David Bakhtiari (hamstring) vs. Cincinnati. Right tackle Bryan Bulaga was questionable with an ankle injury. He did start but then aggravated the problem and left. How many, if any, of those guys can play on the short turnaround? Chicago’s defense has played well at home this year but not in the lone road game.

  • The over is 8-1 in the Packers’ past nine after a loss.
  • The over is 5-2 in the past seven meetings.
