So much for a Super Bowl Loser’s Curse as the Atlanta Falcons are the only NFC team without a loss entering Week 4. That’s not likely to change with Buffalo in town. Survivor Pick: Atlanta.

Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons (-7.5, 48)

Buffalo and Kansas City are the only teams with 3-0 against the spread records so far. The Bills were home dogs in Week 3 vs. Denver but won 26-16 as Tyrod Taylor had one of the best games of his career, completing 20 of 26 for 213 yards, two touchdowns and no picks for a rating of 126.0. The Bills needed all that because they managed just 75 yards on carries – they don’t usually win without running the ball well. Bills coach Sean McDermott said Monday that defenses are crowding the box and giving a "healthy respect to LeSean," leading to McCoy's lack of production the past two weeks with 30 rushing yards total. Atlanta is the fourth team in the past 25 years to start 3-0 the season after losing in the Super Bowl. The Falcons join the 2006 Seahawks, 1998 Packers and 1997 Patriots – all four of those clubs would get back to the playoffs but none as far as a conference title game.

  • Bills are 2-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win.

Will Atlanta have star receiver Julio Jones for this game? He hurt his back on the Falcons’ last offensive play of their controversial Week 3 win in Detroit, but Coach Dan Quinn says Jones will be ready for Buffalo. Bills rookie cornerback Tre’Davious White will be facing his biggest test yet against Jones if he does indeed play. Atlanta starting free safety Ricardo Allen is in the concussion protocol after delivering a hit with two minutes remaining in the game. Buffalo played Week 3 without starting left tackle Cordy Glenn (ankle) and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (ankle). They might be ready for this one. The Falcons are a different animal offensively at home.

  • Over is 7-1 in Bills last 8 vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Over is 12-0 in Falcons last 12 home games.
