Our sports handicapping professional went a spotless 4-0 with his NFL week 2 predictions. Join us in reading his revealing betting preview article on Sunday’s 49ers and Seahawks game, and it concludes with a NFL pick.

NFC West Battle in the Pacific Northwest
Seattle hosts NFC West rival San Francisco on Sunday in a clash between 1-1 teams. The opening kickoff from Century Link Field is slated for 4:05 PM ET. At the time of this writing (9/22), NFL point spreads and totals at Bookmaker shows Seattle as a 9.0-point favorite, and there a posted total of 40.0.

Seahawks Domination in Recent Series History
Seattle has gone a perfect 5-0 SU&ATS in their previous 5 games against San Francisco and held the 49ers to a paltry 8.6 points scored per contest. Furthermore, over the past 5 seasons, Seattle is 5-0 SU&ATS at home versus San Francisco and won by a sizable average of 20.0 points per game.

49ers Drastic Defense Home/Away Splits
Since the start of last season, there’s been a huge disparity in San Francisco’s defensive numbers in home games compared to those away. During that course of time, they’ve play nine games each at home and on the road. The 49ers allowed a mammoth 33.1 points per away game and are 7-2 under in those contests. Contrarily, they’ve allowed just 15.0 points per home game and were 8-1 under in those contests. They’ve certainly held true to form thus far in 2016, shutting out the Rams during their home opener, and allowed 46 points plus 529 yards at Carolina last Sunday.

Seahawks Offense Stuck in Neutral
Seattle has inexplicably scored a combined 15 points through its first 2 games. Thanks to their defense, they’ve still managed to go 1-1. There’s just too much talent at Seattle’s skilled positions for those offense struggles to continue. It’s worth noting, since 2013, home teams which scored 12 points or less in each of their previous 2 games, resulted in their following contest going 10-3 over the total.

NFL Totals Betting Angle
San Francisco is coming off a 46-27 loss at Carolina last Sunday. Meanwhile, Seattle sustained a 9-3 loss to division rival Los Angles during NFL Week 2 action. The combination of these two results creates a betting angle which has resulted in extremely successful NFL picks.

Since 2013, any NFL team (Seattle) with a total of 38.0 to 42.5, coming off a division loss by 7 points or less, versus an opponent (San Francisco) which allowed 14 points or more and scored 6 points or more during their previous game, resulted in those games going 16-0 over the total. Those 16 contests average a combined 52.4 points scored per game.
