This is a tight line set for an inter-conference game in the north.  Though the line was initially set very tight, we have found an edge and are starting to see value poke its dollar-shaped head around the corner.

Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh got taken to the wire by the Cleveland Browns. Though, it wasn't because Big Ben and crew under performed, it was exactly the opposite. The Browns put on a good showing at home and performed well beyond our expectations. Bradford was magical against the Saints in the Vikings opener at home. It looks like the public is expecting a back-door cover as the line opened with the Steelers as 6.5-point favorites and it has since moved down to just 5.5. Since 2014, the men of Skoll are just 2 and 6 (25%) ATS as road-pups, while the Steelers are 62.5% ATS as home-faves. The Vikings are also only 25% against the spread in non-conference match-ups making them doubly situationally risky. Handicapping this game, I believe the line should be set at 6. Now that it has moved down to 5.5, the Steelers are started to look quite valuable.
