We have finally reached the end of the 2013 NFL regular season, and with lot of playoff implications left to decide, there should subsequently be some nice props available this week as well. I have found two from Bet365 that have a lot of great value this week, and both have amazing prices. Both props are 3 unanswered scores wagers.

Jets vs. Dolphins

This should be a slugfest of a game, and after the Dolphins got blanked last week in Buffalo, I expect them to be ready for this one, because they are fighting for their playoff lives. If they win they are in, however a stout Jets defense stands in their way. That is why I see this game as a tighter one, with a lot of back and forth scoring.

The Jets have been much better over their last three games, ironically ever since they got beat down by the Dolphins at home in Week 13. New York and Geno Smith have both been playing better, as they have won two of their last three games SU, and the game they lost was a much more competitive game against the Panthers on the road.

In those last three games, the Jets have been excellent value for this bet. They would have cashed this prop in their last three games, as in all three, neither team scored three unanswered times on one another, including the Panthers game. The Jets will do their best to ruin their divisional rival’s playoff hopes, and the Dolphins should do all they can to prevent that from happening. I see a hard-hitting, low scoring and back and forth game this week. With a price of +175 for no three unanswered scores, I love the value for my NFL pick.

My Pick: ‘No’ 3 Unanswered Scores (+175)

49ers vs. Cardinals

This is another game that falls into a similar category, except both of these teams have potentially huge playoff implications tied to this game. The NFL Odds have the Cards as +1 home underdogs, and with another low total and spread, this game is perfect for another ‘No’ wager. The Niners still have an outside chance at the #1 seed if they win and the Seahawks lose, but more importantly, they can secure their #5 seed with a win, even though they have already clinched a spot in the playoffs.

The 49ers have not given up three unanswered scores since Week 11 against the Saints, and I see that trend continuing this week. The Cards’ defense has given up three unanswered once in their last three games, however at home this season, no team has scored three unanswered times on the Cardinals’ defense.

When these two teams meet up, it’s traditionally a lower scoring game, especially when they play in Arizona. Every time it seems one of the teams are still in single digits or the teens by the time the game ends, and I see it happening again. The Cards’ last game against the Seahawks is the type of game we should expect this week as well. The 49ers also don’t have any benefits in this game when it comes to knowing other team’s scores. The Saints play during the same hour as the Niners and Cardinals, and the Seahawks of course play in the late afternoon slot as well. The Niners won’t be able to throw it in, and I see it preventing either team from scoring three unanswered times.

My Pick: ‘No’ 3 unanswered scores (+163)
