The Seattle Seahawks still have a shot at the playoffs, but both they and the disappointing Arizona Cardinals could be looking at overhauls in the offseason. Survivor Pick: Seattle.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (-7.5, 39.5)

Seattle won a playoff elimination game Sunday in Dallas, 21-12, despite just 136 yards of offense. But the Seahawks would score all their points of three Cowboys turnovers: a Byron Maxwell forced fumble that set up Seattle’s first score, a Justin Coleman pick-six, and a K.J. Wright interception that the offense turned into another touchdown. Now the Seahawks must win this game and have Atlanta lose at home to Carolina to earn the NFC’s final wild-card spot and most likely a trip to the division rival Los Angeles Rams next weekend. The Seahawks are looking to extend a streak of five straight seasons of winning 10 or more games and making the postseason. Arizona beat the visiting Giants 23-0 on Sunday in its home finale. It was the franchise’s first shutout since 1992. With the victory for Arizona, Bruce Arians moved into a tie with Ken Whisenhunt for most victories by a Cardinals coach (49). Drew Stanton was back as Arizona’s starting QB after Blaine Gabbert had started the previous five games. Stanton completed 20 of 34 for 209 yards, including TDs passes of 13 yards to Larry Fitzgerald and 15 yards to John Brown but was intercepted twice.

  • Cardinals are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games.
  • Seahawks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Could this be the last game for future Hall of Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald of the Cardinals. He hasn’t said publicly whether he will return in 2018. Seems like he should because Fitz is still playing at a high level. In the win over New York, he had nine catches for 119 yards and that touchdown. He has 101 catches for 1,101 yards and six touchdowns on the season. Fitzgerald now has five seasons with at least 100 catches, tied for the second-most in NFL history. Only Brandon Marshall with six has more. Fitzgerald also has nine seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards, tied for the third-most in NFL history. Jerry Rice (14) and Randy Moss (10) have more. It will be the finale for Arians, reportedly, as he’s going to step away from coaching for health reasons. Meanwhile, Seattle in Week 16 became the first team since the Eagles in 1966 to win a game with more penalty yards than offensive yards. The Hawks lost 142 yards on 11 accepted penalties in Dallas. In Week 10 on a Thursday night, Seattle won 22-16 at Arizona in a brutally physical game that saw a bunch of guys leave injured – that was the final game of the season for Richard Sherman. Russell Wilson threw two touchdown passes to Jimmy Graham. Seattle's Kam Chancellor forced a fumble by Adrian Peterson on Arizona's first offensive play and later tackled him in the end zone for a safety. Stanton threw for 273 yards and a score.

  • Under is 5-1 in Cardinals last 6 road games.
  • Under is 9-2 in Seahawks last 11 vs. NFC.
