The Colts are simply playing out the string in a disastrous season, while Baltimore still has plenty of motivation as it looks for a wild-card spot. Survivor Pick: Baltimore.

Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens (-13.5, 41.5)

First meeting between these teams since Oct. 5, 2014, a game the Colts won at home 20-13. Andrew Luck threw for one touchdown and rushed for another. Of course, he hasn’t played all season and now there’s talk he might have to have a second shoulder surgery. If he feels pain when he starts throwing again soon, he might have to go back under the knife. The good news is that procedure, known as a tenodesis, would only keep him out 3-6 months. Indy’s current QB is Jacoby Brissett and he has played reasonably well after coming over in trade from New England. The Colts are on a five-game skid following a 25-13 home loss to Denver last Thursday night. The Colts led 10-0 early but lost for the seventh time this season when leading at halftime. That’s one shy of tying an unwanted NFL single-season record. Brissett threw for only 158 yards but rushed for a score. The Ravens will be a wild-card team if they win this one and next Sunday at home vs. Cincinnati, which should happen considering the Bengals have quit on the season. I generally take that many points, but the Colts have zero reason to give much of an effort Saturday and the Ravens plenty of motivation.

Colts are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games.

Ravens are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Free NFL Pick: Ravens -13.5

Best Line Offered: Pinnacle

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3193248, "sportsbooksIds":[238,1389,180,3970,118], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

The five-game skid is Indy’s longest under Chuck Pagano, who is a lock to get fired probably the day after the season ends. GM Chris Ballard wants to give Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub a head-coaching opportunity, but Colts owner Jim Irsay may be looking for a bigger name. The Colts have been outscored 236-94 in the second half of games this season, and that’s a sign of bad coaching. You are supposed to make major adjustments at halftime. The Colts gained a total of 90 yards in the second half of the Denver loss. Brissett is averaging just 4.55 yards per attempt over his past three starts. The Ravens won in Cleveland on Sunday, 27-10. Joe Flacco threw for a season-high 288 yards and scored his first rushing touchdown of the season. The Ravens forced four turnovers. Defensive tackle Brandon Williams scored his first touchdown since he intercepted Blaine Gabbert in high school and returned it for a score. The Ravens lead the NFL with 33 takeaways and rank second only to the Jacksonville Jaguars with five defensive touchdowns. Baltimore is 7-1 this season when it forces turnovers and 1-5 when not.

Under is 6-0 in Colts last 6 games overall.

Under is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings.

Free NFL Pick: Under 41.5

Best Line Offered: JustBet

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3193248, "sportsbooksIds":[1275,43,139,999993,1096], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
