We have only a few weeks of the regular season remaining, and I am back once again this weekend with two more player props from Bet365. Both of these NFL Odds are touchdowns props, and I think both have some great respective value.
The return of Jay Cutler is going to do some things to the Bears’ offense. Even though Josh McCown played extremely well in Cutler’s second absence, he was the quarterback who electrified 2nd year wide receiver, Alshon Jeffery. Brandon Marshall was somewhat forgotten because of how good Jeffery has been over the last several weeks.
However with the return of Cutler, it’s likely that we see the return of Marshall as the Bears’ number one receiver. Marshall was getting a majority of the Bears’ red zone looks when Cutler was healthy, and now with him back under center, I expect those looks to return.
An even larger factor to this pick is Joe Haden will likely spend most of his time defending Jeffery, which will lead to a lot of looks towards Marshall’s way this week. Marshall has spent most of his snaps in the slot, and Haden does not play the slot corner position for the Browns. If Haden stays locked in on Jeffery, that means the NFL Odds for Marshall to score this week are looking even better.
Even though it’s only -110 for Marshall to get into the end zone this week, with Cutler returning and Haden on Jeffery, I’m all over this NFL pick. I expect double-digit targets this week for Marshall, and one or more of them will likely be in the red zone.
My Pick: Brandon Marshall TD Scored (-110)

While this next guy doesn’t have anywhere near the touchdown chances of Marshall, I think he could see a lot of work this week. Rookie tight end, Zach Ertz had a huge game for the Eagles two weeks ago against the Cardinals, and even though he was held without a catch this past week, I think we see a resurgence in Week 15.
At +250, Ertz’ touchdown price is through the roof, and it’s not that inconceivable to expect a touchdown from him. Two weeks ago against the worst tight end defense in the NFL, Ertz went off for two touchdowns. This week the Eagles welcome in the Vikings, the 2nd worst tight end defense in the NFL.
The Vikings have given up 11 touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season, and while the Eagles don’t use their tight ends much, they do when the matchups are right. The Vikings will likely be without Adrian Peterson and his backup Toby Gerhart, so their offense is really going to be limited. The Eagles will want to employ a conservative approach this week, with plenty of LeSean McCoy and the tight ends. Chip Kelly’s offense will likely have the ball a lot in this game.
While Ertz hasn’t been a consistent threat this season, the price of +250 is way too appealing to me today. The Vikings gave up two touchdowns last week to Dennis Pitta, and now they have given up an average of five touchdowns in their last six games to opposing tight ends.
My Pick: Zach Ertz TD Scored (+250)
