Thursday Night Football tonight is a good one between NFC North foes, as the Packers head into Detroit as -3 road favorites. Bet365 has a ton of valuable props both in the team and player variety.

Eddie Lacy O/U 72.5 rushing yards
Until the last few weeks, Eddie Lacy was the joke of the NFL. A feature back who was known as a slow starter, Lacy began the season running horrible, and even losing his starting spot to James Starks at one point. There was an injury in there that may have hampered him as well, but it looks like all that is behind Lacy after the last two weeks. Lacy has run for 205 yards in his last two games combined, and tonight going over his yards total of 72.5 might seem like a value to the naked eye. However, it could also be that his last two weeks were a fluke, and he could fall right back down to earth tonight against a Lions defense that is better than most people give it credit for. Combine that with the fact that Detroit is playing better, and Lacy might not see the same amount of touches in this game on the ground. Going with the under is where I’m looking at for my first prop.

NFL Pick: UNDER 72.5 (-125)

Calvin Johnson O/U 85.5 receiving yards
Speaking of disappointments early in the season, Calvin Johnson fell into that category to start the season. Outside of one big game against the Vikings in Week 2, Johnson and the Lions struggled through the first five or six weeks. However, all that has changed under Jim Bob Cooter. The Lions new offensive coordinator has the Lions clicking, as was shown last week in their huge blowout win against the Eagles. Now going up against a Packers team that has lost four of their last five games, and Johnson could make a splash here. In his last six games, Johnson hasn’t had below 81 yards receiving, and he should once again see a healthy amount of targets. Even with Golden Tate also getting more involved in the offense as well, Johnson’s 10-12 targets in this one should be good enough to go over his yards total from bet365.

NFL Pick: OVER 85.5 (-120)

Packers vs. Lions O/U 5.5 TDs
With a total of 47 tonight, and with the Lions’ offense looking better, this could be a higher scoring Thursday night contest. Whether the touchdowns come on the offensive or even the defensive end, the over has a ton of value at Bet365 at +120 for this prop. In their last meeting against one another, even though the final score of the game was low at 18-16, Aaron Rodgers threw the ball for 333 yards, while Matt Stafford threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns. If the yardage is there on a short week this week, I see both of these teams converting more of their field goals into touchdowns. There were four field goals attempted in their first meeting of the season at Green Bay, but this week I see that number going down. Even though the last few weeks of TNF haven’t been against offensive powerhouses by any means, the Lions were actually playing on Thanksgiving just last week. This will be Detroit’s third game in 11 days, and their defense might give up more than a few touchdowns this week.

NFL Pick: OVER 5.5 (+120)
