I will make one lock prediction here: There will be at least one penalty for a personal foul or late hit as these rivals simply don’t like each other. Survivor Pick: Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5, 43.5)

Pittsburgh has won the past five in this series and eight of nine, including playoffs. In Week 7, it was a 29-14 home victory. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 224 yards and two scores, and Le’Veon Bell added 192 total yards. Pittsburgh blanked the Bengals on 19 total yards in the second half. The Steelers are tied for the AFC’s best record at 9-2 and have won six straight. They were somewhat fortunate to beat the visiting Packers 31-28 last Sunday night. Chris Boswell hit a 53-yard field goal with no time left. Antonio Brown had 10 catches for 169 yards with two touchdowns and running back Le’Veon Bell had 183 scrimmage yards (95 rushing, 88 receiving). Cincinnati has kept its wild-card hopes alive with back-to-back wins. It was 30-16 over the sorry Browns in Week 12. Rookie Joe Mixon ran for a career-high 114 yards. The Bengals came into the game with the worst rush offense in the NFL, making it to 100 yards only once before. Cincinnati hadn't scored so many points since it won 31-7 at Cleveland on Oct. 1.

  • Steelers are 16-3-2 ATS in their last 21 meetings in Cincinnati.
  • Bengals are 4-9-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

If you stop Brown and Bell, you win as a Pittsburgh opponent. Good luck with that! Bell leads the league in both rushing yards (981) and scrimmage yards (1,377) while Brown ranks first in both receptions (80) and receiving yards (1,195). The Steelers are aiming to join the 1991 Dallas Cowboys and 1999 Indianapolis Colts as the only teams in the Super Bowl era to have the league’s leading rusher and receiver. The Steelers have been one of the Bengals’ toughest challenges in the Marvin Lewis era. They have an 8-23 record against the Steelers during the coach's tenure. The Cincinnati offensive line has struggled this season in both run and pass blocking, but everything was clicking against the Browns last week. Mixon's 165 yards from scrimmage matched the highest in one game by a Cincinnati rookie in the last two decades. At 21, Mixon became the youngest Bengals player to run for 100 yards in a game. Andy Dalton has tossed just four interceptions in the last nine games. He has the longest current streak in the NFL of attempted passes without an interception (140).

  • Under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings.
  • Under is 12-4 in Bengals last 16 vs. AFC North.
