Week 13 has not been kind to our NFL Picks in the props department, but I am ready to turn things around here on Monday night with two more premium NFL Expert Picks from Bovada sportsbook! NFL Season Props Record: 66-54-2.
Frank Gore O/U 52.5 Rushing Yards
Gore may be an old man, but he is still carrying the load for the Colts. Indianapolis had a poor game against Pittsburgh last week where Gore only ran for 28 yards on 15 carries. However, the Steelers’ defense is about as underrated as they come, while the Jets may have one of the more overrated defenses in the league.
The Jets have also allowed well over 100 yards per game on average over their last three weeks to opposing running backs, so it would appear as if they have another weakness on defense brewing.
The key for Gore is his touches. He has been pretty steady with getting a good volume of carries this season, so as long as the Colts don’t fall too far behind in this one, Gore should see enough touches to cash the 'over' in this one.
He is averaging only about 3.8 yards per carry this season, but his last three matchups have all come against tough rushing defenses. The Jets do not carry that kind of stout front that can stifle running backs, so with Gore poised to get another 15 carries, even if he averages just four yards per carry it should be enough for the 'over.'
NFL Free Pick: 'Over' 52.5 (-115)

Bilal Powell O/U 49.5 Rushing & Receiving Yards
Powell is an explosive running back both running the ball and catching it. He has his games where he disappears or the Jets’ play-callers forget about him, but with Ryan Fitzpatrick back in action for the Jets it might be a week where Powell starts to see some more work on the running and passing attacks.
Plus, in games where the Jets have to rally, Powell is usually on the field and catching a lot of passes. For instance, in their losses this season Powell is averaging 57 all-purpose yards and nine touches per game.
As long as game flow is in our favor and the Jets are playing rom behind, I think Powell can go 'over' 49 all purpose yards with his nine or 10 touches. The Colts are allowing about 100 yards per game on the ground and another 40 yards through the air to opposing backs. As long as Powell gets most of those 40 yards through the air, he should be good for another five or eight carries on the ground to help us push the over.
NFL Free Pick: 'Over' 49.5 (-115)
