This prop has been kind and mean to me this season, but I am stubborn, and I am going to give it a try once again this week.

Week 12 is almost upon us, and I am back once again this weekend for another edition of my team prop picks. All of these NFL Odds are courtesy of Bet365 sportsbook, and with the season heading down the home stretch, let’s see if we can have another profitable Sunday.

3 Unanswered scores

It can be tricky, but it can also be very profitable. Picking games for this prop is pretty hard. However if you stick to games with lower spreads and totals, it can help with this NFL prop wager

This week, I think the perfect game for this prop is the Titans and Raiders. The NFL Odds have Oakland as +1 home underdogs with a total of only 41 points. Both teams have backup QBs in the game, and while I expect them both to play well enough, the defenses for these two teams are very underrated.

The Titans are only giving up around 213 passing yards per game this season, which ranks them 7th in the entire league in pass defense. While their run defense hasn’t been great all year, it has been looking better over the last couple of weeks.

The Raiders on the other hand have the opposite problem. Their run defense is normally really good, however their aging and injured secondary has not given them the production they would have hoped for this season. However at home and against the Titans, I think they can hold Tennessee enough to limit them from scoring three unanswered times.

The same can be said for the other side. The Titans’ defense is good enough to slow down Oakland at home, and while both of these offenses have some upside, I think the travel will affect Tennessee, while I think Matt McGloin will regress a bit from last week.

My Pick: ‘No’ 3 unanswered scores (+120)

1st to 10 points

The Steelers head out on the road this week to play the Browns, and the NFL Odds have Cleveland as a -1 favorite, with a total of 40 points. While I do think this will be a very good game, Pittsburgh’s defense creates some major problems for the Browns, and I think that will eventually lead to the Steelers getting to 10 points first.

The Browns have been incapable of running the ball recently, and it has hampered their offense. The Browns have averaged only 79 yards rushing per game in their last four games, and against the Steelers, that will play right into their hands. The Pittsburgh defense hasn’t stopped the run that well, but their pass defense has been great.

The Steelers will be able to play the Browns straight up on defense, and on offense, things should click early for Ben Roethlisberger and company. They have won the race to ten points two weeks in a row heading into this game, and I think they make it a third week against the Browns. The Browns have given up almost 29 points per game over their last five games.

My Pick: Steelers first to 10 points (-105)
