It was a nice finish to Week 9 as we cashed both of our NFL props for Monday night. Now on Thursday, we have some more betting value from the Browns and Ravens, and I am ready to release my 59th and 60th winning plays from SBR's best sportsbooks.
Terrelle Pryor TD Scored
The Browns’ wide receiving group has been one of the biggest surprises for the team this season and one of the few things to remain hopeful about. Even without Josh Gordon, Pryor, Corey Coleman (when healthy) and Andrew Hawkins have played well for the Browns’ downfield attack.
A converted quarterback, Pryor looks like the Browns’ top receiver and even though we missed out on his yards prop this past week vs. Dallas, I am ready to go back to the well with a touchdown prop for his short-week game.
The Ravens have given up 14 touchdowns to opposing receivers this season, second-most in the league behind the 49ers, who have allowed 15. After not allowing a touchdown to a receiver in Week 1, the Ravens are giving up an average of two per game since, and with the Browns potentially playing from behind in this one Pryor’s NFL odds for a touchdown at +175 are extremely undervalued by Bovada.
NFL Free Pick: Yes On Prior TD At +175
Best Line Offered: Bovada
Dennis Pitta O/U 44.5 Receiving Yards
Much like the Ravens have been pretty bad against receivers this season, the Browns have been the same against tight ends. Even though Pitta will potentially see his targets go down some with the return of receiver Steve Smith, Pitta’s presence over the middle is going to be on display in this game.
Pitta only got three targets last week against the Steelers, but before that he had seen at least eight per game in three straight weeks. With the Browns allowing 147 yards to tight ends last week, they have become the worst team in the league at defending them. Cleveland has allowed 725 yards to tight ends this season, the most of any team, and has three games this season allowing more than 100 yards to opposing tight ends.
This puts Pitta in a nice spot here from BetOnline at only 44.5 yards. His performance last week has driven down his yards total some in this one, so take advantage and add the over to your NFL picks.
