Could Sunday be a potential trap game for the Steelers off their bye week and with a quick turnaround coming in Week 11? Maybe. Survivor Pick: Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts (+11.5, 45)

The Steelers entered their bye week on a three-game winning streak. They had almost no right winning 20-15 in Week 8 in Detroit considering the Lions had 482 yards of offense. That was the third-highest yardage total without a TD. The most was San Francisco's 501 against Washington in 1986. But, hey, kudos to Pittsburgh keeping Detroit out of the end zone. Offensively, Ben Roethlisberger is experiencing his lowest passer rating since 2008 (82.7), his lowest completion percentage since 2006 (61.1) and is on pace for 18 interceptions on the season, which would tie for his second-worst ever. Big Ben will get back WR Martavis Bryant this week. He was suspended vs. the Lions for some trade comments. The Colts were the first beneficiaries of Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury, as last Sunday Indianapolis upset the Texans 20-14 in Houston.  T.Y. Hilton had five catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns. Hilton has 10 career games with at least 150 receiving yards, tied with Atlanta’s Julio Jones for the fourth-most 150-yard receiving games in a player’s first six seasons.

  • Steelers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a bye week.
  • Colts are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games in November.

At least the Colts can move on officially from Andrew Luck after he was ruled out for the season last week. It’s yet another time that Pittsburgh avoids Luck when playing the Colts. Here are the Steelers' opposing Colts quarterback since 2015: Matt Hasselbeck, Scott Tolzien and now Jacoby Brissett. Luck hasn't played Pittsburgh since 2014 due to injuries. Roethlisberger could have a breakout game here. In his past three games against the Colts, the Steelers have won them all handily and Big Ben has 13 TD passes and no picks. He threw three in last year’s 28-7 win, all to Antonio Brown. He’s leading the NFL this year by a mile in averaging 104.4 yards per game. No other player is even at 90. The only two Indianapolis defensive players still on the roster that played in all three games vs. Big Ben are safety Darius Butler and cornerback Vontae Davis. The Colts have gotten basically nothing from receivers not named T.Y. Hilton this season. He has 702 receiving yards, while the other receivers on the roster -- Donte Moncrief, Kamar Aiken, Chester Rogers, Quan Bray and Matt Hazel -- have combined for 521 yards.

  • Over is 8-3 in Colts last 11 vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
