The Bengals have won two straight and four of the past five meetings vs. the Titans, but the teams haven’t met since 2014 so I take nothing from that. Survivor Pick: Tennessee.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans (-4.5, 40.5)

Good news if you are an owner of Bengals star receiver A.J. Green in fantasy football but bad news if you are a backer of the Titans as Cincinnati’s best offensive player will play in this game, and I truly don’t understand how. Green went all mixed martial arts on Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey in the Bengals’ loss in Week 9 and both were ejected. Green jumped up and grabbed Ramsey around the neck, throwing him to the ground. He punched him multiple times as players from both times rushed off the sidelines and joined the fight. How the heck is Green not suspended yet Bucs receiver Mike Evans was given a one-game ban when he wasn’t even involved in a fight or ejected vs. the Saints?  Green has no prior history of on-field incidents and never had a personal foul prior to the game so maybe that worked in his favor. It’s a big break for the Bengals, who are barely on the fringes of wild-card contention at 3-5. Tennessee won its third straight game Sunday, 23-20 over Baltimore. The Titans and Jaguars are tied for the AFC South lead.

  • Bengals are 3-9-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Titans are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 home games.

Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis fired his offensive coordinator after Week 2 and promoted QBs coach Bill Lazor. It seemed to spark the offense for a while, but that group did nothing in Sunday’s 23-7 loss in Jacksonville. For the second time this season, the Bengals finished with fewer than 200 yards offensively. They rushed for 29 total yards and ran only 37 total offensive plays. The Bengals converted only one third down and allowed the Jaguars to convert 12 of 18. Cornerback Adam Jones, not exactly a great citizen, called his team out afterward. "Do you really want to win? That's my question to some of these guys," Jones mused. “That's not what I'm saying. I'm talking about heart and playing with a passion, and at this point we ain't playing with no f---ing passion.” When your character is being called out by Pacman, things aren’t good. Tennessee safety Kevin Byard had two interceptions in the Titans’ 23-20 win over Baltimore. Byard has recorded five interceptions in his past two games, tied for the most by an NFL player in consecutive games since the 1970 merger. He has seven total takeaways. In winning three of four since an embarrassing 57-14 loss in Houston, the Titans' defense has allowed just 13.5 points per game and an average of one touchdown per contest.

  • Under is 12-4 in Bengals last 16 games overall.
  • Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
