The New York Giants are taking in all the pounds sterling for Sunday's game in London versus the Los Angeles Rams. But are the underdogs the right NFL pick this time?

Record: 12-7-1 ATS, 4-7 Totals

The Los Angeles Rams may have run out of magic. Even after Case Keenum had the game of his life last Sunday, the Rams lost 31-28 to the Detroit Lions; sadly, we had the Lions at –3 here at the ranch, but the “official” closing spread was Detroit –2.5, so we hope you were able to grab the right team at the right price.

We've got a similar situation coming up this Sunday (9:30 a.m. ET, NFLN) when the Rams play the New York Giants at Twickenham Stadium in London. But this time, we've got the Giants lined up as 2.5-point favorites on the NFL odds board, and we're more than happy to recommend Big Blue with all that big money rolling in. Our expanded consensus report shows New York pulling in 98 percent of the action from 54 percent of the betting population, for an average wager of $3,673. Zounds~!

From New York to L.A.

That doesn't necessarily mean we're going to dip into our pockets for four figures. The Elo-based projection has the Rams ahead by just half-a-point, while other comes up with something closer to Rams +4.

If this figures to be a close NFL week 7 pick between two fair-to-middling teams, why is all that money on the Giants (3-3 SU, 2-3-1 ATS)? Maybe the wiseguys are selling high on Keenum. He had an amazing game against Detroit, going 27-of-32 for 321 yards, three touchdowns and a single pick, plus a rushing TD for good measure. Nice. However, Keenum was No. 26 at his position in DVOA heading into that game, according to the fine folks at Football Outsiders. And the Lions pass defense ranked No. 31 in efficiency.

Keenum and the Rams (3-3 SU and ATS) should have a bit more trouble versus the Giants and their No. 18-ranked pass defense. That trouble begins up front, where L.A.'s offensive line has done a questionable job of protecting Keenum (13 sacks) and providing room for RB Todd Gurley (2.9 yards per carry). And that's with the line at full health. Yup, time to hit the Brexit button on the Rams before that spread hits the magic number 3.
