Do the pitiful Chicago Bears have any hope against the NY Giants? Hmm, slim to none. Here’s a mini-betting preview complete with SU, ATS and Total NFL picks for your week 11 betting thrills.

   Chicago Bears vs N.Y. Giants
 Point Spread Value

NY Giants put a 6-3 SU record and 5-4-0 ATS record on the line in week 11. Most recently, they’ve won and covered four straight: Giants (-3.5) in 27-23 win over Ravens; Giants (-2.5) in a 17-10 win over the Rams; Giants (-3) in a 28-23 win over the Eagles and Giants (+1) in a 21-20 win over the Bengals on MNF. If this is a sign of what’s to come, NFL betting fans can be confident about the G-men in their upcoming clash with the Bears. Consider the Bears are woeful 2-7-0 ATS with an 8.2 losing margin on average and a -5.7 differential versus the spread. There are no words for last week’s 35-10 loss to the Bucs either, marking their seventh missed cover of the season. This is simply the worst team in the NFL. The only consolation for Bears’ fans is the fact the NFL doesn’t have a second division because they’d be primed for relegation.

The Survivor

The NY Giants are riding a four-game winning streak into week 11. Wins over the Ravens, Rams, Eagles and Bengals lift the Giants to a 6-3 SU record in the NFC East. They’ll be looking to extend that winning form to five in a row against a Chicago Bears side that leaves much to be desired with a 2-7 SU record. Doubt anybody would pay good money on the Bears in this matchup. If this isn’t the most straightforward NFL pick of the week, color the NFL betting world shocked.

Game Total

The Giants defense is living up to its offseason improvements and investments and keeping NY Giants in the playoff frame. Five of the nine games were won by slim margins, including last week’s MNF win over the Bengals. Not surprisingly, Giants are one of the best UNDER performers this season with a 3-6-0 OVER record.
