It’s Week 8 of the NFL season, and I am back once again with a couple more 6-point, 2-team teasers, and I think both have tremendous value this week. Find out where we've decided to place our cash.

Follow along and let’s see if we can have another winning weekend with our teaser NFL picks, starting of course with the Thursday night game between the Panthers and Bucs.

Panthers and Eagles

Thursday night kicks off with an NFC South rivalry game between the Panthers and Bucs, and the NFL odds have the Panthers at -5 ½, and -6, but teasing them down to a pick em seems like solid value tonight. With the loss of Doug Martin, the Bucs won’t have much of a running game, which means the very good Panthers defense is going to be able to take out Vincent Jackson, Tampa’s only real remaining threat at the skill positions. Teasing the Panthers down to a pick em is great value. I already am on record as picking them at -5 ½ this week. Despite it being a road divisional game, Carolina is undervalued here.

The Eagles are at home this week against the Giants, and the NFL Odds also have them as -5 ½ favorites. Teasing them down to a pick em is once again great value, because not only is Michael Vick set to make his return this week, but the Giants are kind of overvalued here after their first win of the season. Beating the Vikings at home was no big task for New York, and this week they face a much tougher test. Even with Vick still banged up a little, the Philly offense runs so much better with him in the game, even if he is less than 100%. I’m expecting another big game from the Eagles on offense, and a big win by Philadelphia at home.

My Pick: 6-point teaser: Panthers PK & Eagles PK (-110)

Chiefs and Raiders

The Chiefs play host to the Browns this week, and after the horrible play of Brandon Weeden, the Browns are going with the veteran, Jason Campbell at QB against the Chiefs. Campbell should be a solid starter, but his downfield throwing leaves something to be desired. With the Chiefs’ defense as good as it is, this should be a lower scoring game. However Kansas City should be able to hit their teaser price easily at home, which will be -1 ½. Although they might only win by 3 points in this one, I see Kansas City come in with the victory. Campbell is not much of an upgrade from Weeden.

Finally, the Raiders are coming off of their Week 7 bye week to welcome in the Steelers. Pittsburgh is a -3 road favorite in the NFL Odds, and after their nice win over the Ravens, the Steelers are very overvalued here. This could be a very low scoring game, but the Raiders’ defense is almost, if not as good as the Steelers, and the possibility of there being little to no offense in this game plays well for the Raiders’ price. At +9 in their 6-point teaser price, I can’t help but really like the Raiders here. Their defense should give the offensive line from Pittsburgh fits, and with the Steelers traveling cross-country to play a team that had the week off last week, it’s not looking good. I expect a nice cover from the Raiders in this one.

My Pick: 6-point teaser: Chiefs -1 ½ & Raiders +9 (-110)
