Another winning week on largest totals, I hit on 'OVER' Raiders-Chargers & 'UNDER' Falcons-Titans but missed 'OVER' Saints-Colts cause Indy stinks. Here are 3 of the highest Week 8 totals on NFL odds.

San Diego Chargers At Baltimore Ravens (50 On NFL Odds)
How much will Baltimore even care for this game? The Ravens dropped to 1-6 with Monday night's loss in Arizona -- all six losses have ended with Baltimore having a chance to tie or win at the end. Amazing. So not only is it a short week for the Ravens, but the playoffs are now obviously a pipe dream. Some teams would just mail it in the rest of the way. But if I were betting this on the spread (Ravens -3.5), I'd be very concerned that this game is at 10 a.m. Pacific time and that's never an easy thing for West Coast teams to deal with. The Chargers (2-5) have lost three straight. They were surprised 37-29 at home by Oakland last Sunday. And it wasn't that close as the Chargers scored 23 fourth-quarter garbage points. Offense isn't San Diego's problem as the Bolts lead the NFL in total yards and Philip Rivers is tops with 2,452 yards passing. But San Diego is 27th in scoring defense (28.3 ppg), one spot worse than Baltimore (26.9 ppg). Weather looks pretty decent in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, warmer than usual this time of year.

NFL Free Pick: All signs point to 'OVER.' But I'm going 'UNDER.' Bolts might be sloppy with the early start and trip across country. And Ravens might be too on short week. 'UNDER' is 4-0 in Bolts' past four on road.

NY Giants At New Orleans Saints  (49 In NFL Betting)
It's the two most popular sporting last names in New Orleans sports history in this one as Giants QB Eli Manning faces off against Saints counterpart Drew Brees. Obviously you know why Brees is popular in the Big Easy, but the Mannings are the first family of New Orleans. It's also a homecoming for Giants star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. This looks like a shootout on paper between two good quarterbacks and in the dome. Manning has thrown for 1,776 yards and 11 touchdowns and Brees 1,871 yards and eight scores. The Saints lead the NFL with 32 plays over 20 yards, and those plays have gained an average of 29.9 yards.  The Giants are ranked 29th in NFL defensively this season. The Saints are 30th. Both are allowing more than 400 yards per game  But New Orleans has won two straight largely because of its defense. The Saints have had nine sacks and six takeaways during their wins over Atlanta and Indianapolis. The Giants have turned it over only six times this season. New York's 16 takeaways (11 interceptions) and plus-10 turnover margin both rank second in the league. The Giants haven't won in the Superdome since 1993, going 0-4 over that stretch -- including losses in 2009 and 2011 by a combined 97-51.

NFL Free Pick: 'OVER.' It is 5-1 in New York's past six November games. The 'over' has hit in seven of the Saints'  past nine vs. teams with a winning record.

Cincinnati Bengals At Pittsburgh Steelers (48 For NFL Picks)
I would have liked to have seen what this total would have opened at had sportsbooks known that Steelers third-string quarterback Landry Jones was going to have to start a second straight week. But that's not the case as Ben Roethlisberger will go for the first time since spraining his MCL in Week 3 at the Rams. That means all of Pittsburgh's main skill position players -- Roethlisberger, running back Le'Veon Bell and receivers Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton -- will be on the field together for the first time in 2015. Bell had a two-game suspension to start the year and Bryant four. And then of course Big Ben's injury. Roethlisberger needs 31 passing yards to become the fifth active quarterback to reach 40,000 passing yards. He will become the ninth player in NFL history to reach that. But the best QB on the field, at least thus far in 2015, is Cincinnati's Andy Dalton, who is having by far his best season. He leads the NFL with a rating of 116.1, completing 67.4 percent of his passes for 1,761 yards, 14 TDs and only two picks. The Bengals are third in the NFL in total offense (401.3 ypg) and are the only AFC team with two players who have scored at least six touchdowns and one's not even star receiver A.J. Green. They are tight end Tyler Eifert and running back Jeremy Hill. Should be low 60s at kickoff with a 40 percent chance of rain.

NFL Free Pick: 'UNDER.' It is 9-1-1 in the Steelers' past 11 overall. The 'UNDER' is 7-3 in the Bengals' past 10 on the road. It is 5-2 in the past seven meetings.
