NFL Week 7 Team prop picks
You can also view my player prop picks for this week, but for this one, let’s take a look at the NFL Odds from Bet365 and break down some of my team prop picks for Week 7.
The Rams head into Carolina this week after a great win on the road in Houston in Week 6, and instead of betting a pretty sharp spread, I think there could be some value with these two teams in the touchdown total. 4.5 touchdowns could be a little too much for these two offenses. The Panthers’ defense should be a much greater test this week than the Texans were a week ago, and with the Rams’ history of being inconsistent, I doubt they get into the end zone many times against the Panthers. It would not surprise me one bit to see the Rams kick a ton of field goals in this one.
On the flip side, I can’t see the Panthers getting too much offense in this one. Even though the Rams have been pretty bad on defense so far this season, they played well last week, and if anything is going to travel to Carolina, it’s going to be the Rams defense. This is a unit that was fantastic last season but has been very slow to start 2013 until Week 6. I see this being a pretty close and very low scoring game, with less than five touchdowns.
Free Pick: UNDER 4.5 TDs (+120)
Another game that I think won’t have a ton of TDs is the Bills and Fins. Both of these teams have some major offensive issues right now, but the defenses for these two teams should come to play this week. Thad Lewis goes out on the road to Miami, and even though the Dolphins defense hasn’t been as good as expected, they are still solid at home normally. As long as they can stop the run, I think they can deal with the Bills’ passing game in this one.
This is more of a value play, because at +135, I see another game under 4.5 touchdowns. On papers this seems like a donkey play, I understand that. These two defenses are awful so far this season, but we don’t handicap for what has happened, we handicap what is about to happen. The Bills secondary is healthy now for the most part, and while the Dolphins have similar issues, they too have the ability to slow down the Bills’ offense at home. It’s more of a value play, but I think under 4.5 TDs is another good bet here.
Free Pick: UNDER 4.5 TDs (+135)
3 Unanswered Scores
This game could end up 6-3 very easily, so the chance of there only being three or four scores in this entire game are even greater. When these two teams hook up, there will never be a lack of big hits and defense, and I think a very back and forth game is likely. I doubt either of these teams are able to score three unanswered times.
The last three times these two teams have met, the final score has been within three points, and all of them were close throughout with neither team pulling away. The under has cashed in four of the Ravens last five games and in five of Pittsburgh’s last seven games. I see a really low scoring with plenty of lead changes for our NFL picks here .
Free Pick: ‘No’ (+130)
