NFL Week 7 Teaser Picks
While our bankrolls took a hit, our spirits should not, because there are still 11 full weeks of the NFL regular season left.
This week I am back with a couple more teaser picks for Week 7 of the NFL, and I think both 2-team plays have a lot of value at -110 in the NFL Odds. Let’s take a look at which teams I have selected, and see who are your favorite combinations of the week are.
Bears and Jaguars
Both of these teams would have been solid on a teaser last week, as both covered their normal NFL Odds. This week the Bears are on the road in Washington, and fresh off of the US’s new debt deal, the Skins and Bears are an even wager this week. The Skins are very slight Betting Odds favorites, but teasing the Bears from a pick em to +6 is my first leg of this teaser. Chicago’s defense should be much better if Stephen Paea is able to make his return this week, because if the Bears stop the run, they will win here. This should be a back and forth game to begin with, but if the Bears jump out early, I love their odds at +6.
The Jaguars covered +26 ½ last week and now they are +9 ½ underdogs at home this week against the Chargers. Not only do I think they are a good play as nine point underdogs, I think the Jags would be great at +15 ½ along with the Bears. Being at home and over two score underdogs is perfect value. The Jags have better skill players and probably a better defense than the Chargers do overall, and after their Monday night win against the Colts, the Chargers are overvalued here.
My Pick: 2-team teaser Bears +6 & Jaguars +15 ½ (-110)
Chiefs and Panthers
These two teams are both 6-point home favorites in the NFL Odds this week, and I am teasing them both down to a pick em’. The Chiefs have been playing outstanding defense so far this season, and going up against the embattled Texans is not going to be pretty for Houston. Plus the Texans will likely be down their starting quarterback for this game, like it mattered anyway. Whoever is under center this week for the Texans, you can bet the Chiefs will win the game, even if they don’t do it convincingly. That’s what we have come to expect from the Chiefs this season.
The Panthers welcome in the Rams this week and it is almost the same scenario. St. Louis may not be down their starting quarterback, but their offense hasn’t been to great this season. Even though they were great on the road last week, that is more of a reflection on the Texans than the Rams. Sure, against bad defenses the Rams can run up the score, even if they are on the road, but against the Panthers, this is the toughest road test they have had to date. Carolina’s front seven is going to cause nightmares for Sam Bradford in this one, while Cam Newton and the Carolina offense should score at least 24 points for our NFL picks in this game.
