SBR's Peter Loshak shares his week 6 betting parlay, here he'll breakdown the public vs. sharp action in search of betting value to generate 4 plays worth adding to your NFL picks.
Maybe the most-debated issue for NFL Week 6 is how the underachieving Miami Dolphins will respond in their first week after the expected coaching change they put into place during their bye week. The sharp money did weigh in on the matter during the week, betting on Miami as a small road underdog at Tennessee.
The sharps also reportedly have been coming in on the Indianapolis Colts as a big home underdog on the NFL odds board against the New England Patriots as well, in anticipation of the return to action of Colts’ QB Andrew Luck, who is currently listed as probable on the injury report.
The Minnesota Vikings have generally looked good this year, and they will be at home and coming off of a bye week. But the sharp money reportedly is not impressed, and has apparently seen betting value with their opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs, at an underdog line of +4.
On Thursday night this week, we saw a strong team as about a 3-point road favorite lose outright, and we may have a similar situation shaping up on Sunday with the Arizona Cardinals on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. But interestingly, no notable sharp action as yet has come in on the Steelers as a home underdog, although that may not still be the case by kickoff.
For the second week in a row, there is a notable sharp/public split on a game involving the Denver Broncos as a road favorite of more than a field goal. Last week, the public cashed with Denver, while the sharp money got burned by Oakland. But the sharps have returned once again this week to fade Denver in a similar spot, backing the Cleveland Browns as a significant home underdog, and the public, of course, is loading up again looking for another cash with Denver.
In my parlay this week in my Pete’s Parlay Show, I included a money line play, a spread NFL pick, and two totals, including one in the Denver game that I particularly like.
4-Plays Parlay NFL Picks: Vikings -190 / Broncos/Browns Under 43 (-120) / Bears/Lions Under 45 (-130) / Texans +1.5 (-110)
