Which sportbooks do we think offer the best football teaser odds?
Bills and Jaguars
Two underdogs that seem pretty undervalued are the Bills this Thursday night, and the Jags heading into Sunday. The Bills would be teased up from +4 to +10 in this scenario, and I really like the sports betting value being presented because of it. The Bills have played very well recently, and the Browns have definitely been overachieving. Look for the Bills to either win, or easily cover the +10 portion of this teaser.
The Jaguars go on the road into St. Louis, and while no one should trust the Jags, I do think the Rams opened up (and are still) overvalued here. They opened as a -14 favorite and the NFL odds have come all the way down to -11 ½ over the Jags. This is still too much in my book. The Rams are far from a good football team, and their defense has been the main regression for them since last season. With Justin Blackmon coming back for the Jaguars, and Maurice Jones-Drew likely to have a stellar day against the soft Rams running offense, I think these two dogs are a great teaser combo this week.
My Pick: 2-team teaser, Bills +10 & Jaguars +17 ½

Ravens and Colts
The Ravens head out on the road this week into Miami, and while that won’t be an easy game, taking the Ravens from +3 underdogs to +9 seems like a great value for our NFL picks. The Dolphins’ defense is wildly underperforming from where some thought they would be this season, and even though the Ravens can’t really be trusted, they can go on the road and win. Even if they don’t, +9 should be plenty of points in this one. I can’t see the Dolphins winning by double figures.
The Colts are the only home team I have for this set of teasers, and they play host the Seahawks. This may be the sharpest or stupidest teaser selection for me this week, but taking any home underdog and boosting them up as a bigger underdog seems to work. The Colts won’t get blown out at home by the Hawks, who as good as they are, have not proven anything to anyone yet this season. Their schedule has been a cakewalk so far, they got lucky last week, and their defense still hasn’t learned how to fly on planes to the away games.
My Pick: 2-team teaser, Ravens +9 & Colts +9
Patriots and Broncos
These two seemed like the perfect match for one another this week. The Patriots are on the road in Cincinnati where they are slight underdogs in this game. The Bengals’ secondary is in ruin right now, and that should be the way they are left after Tom Brady is through with them. As long as the Bengals don’t get too much pressure on Brady, I think the Pats will cover +7 easily. Danny Amendola might be back for this game, as could Rob Gronkowski.
The Broncos are on the road in Dallas and they are the only favorite I am teasing down this week. Going from -7 to -1 should be just enough value to trust them this week against Dallas. The Boys might put up a good fight, but Denver is too strong, and that Dallas defense is hemorrhaging yards through the air so far this season. That is not good when you’re about to play the guy with 1500 yards passing and 16 TDs through 4 games.
My Pick: 2-team teaser, Patriots +7 & Broncos -1
