Our handicappers have broken down each contest and apparently the favorites are the way to go in Week 5. Let's get right to it with the NFL odds.
The Patriots, who opened as underdogs but now can be found as favorites, are feeling good after beating the Falcons. However, Adam Ritota is taking Cincinnati to cover.
Pick: Bengals -2
With two whole weeks to prepare for this home date with the Lions, the Packers are in a good spot to bounce back and win. Joe Freda is on Green Bay.
Pick: Packers -6.5
The first underdog pick in our rundown comes on the Colts, who play host to Russell Wilson and the undefeated Seahawks. David Lawrence sees the value on the home team here.
Pick: Colts +3
Joe Freda likes what the Ravens have been able to do over the past few weeks after such a shaky start. He's selecting Baltimore to cover as field-goal pups.
Pick: Ravens +3
This should be one of the most entertaining games of Week 5. The Saints are undefeated but face a very tricky game at Soldier Field – Joe Freda has put his faith in the Bears to cash.
Pick: Bears -1
Obviously it's been a season to forget for the Giants thus far, but they have a good chance to get on the winning side at home versus the Eagles. Doug Upstone has offered his NFL pick in favor of New York.
Pick: Giants -2
Who could have seen these teams being a combined 7-1 heading into encounter at LP Field? Ryan Fitzpatrick makes his first start for the Titans, but Jason Lake has decided to roll with Kansas City.
Pick: Chiefs -1
Not the most interesting of matchups here, that's for sure. Still, there's money to be made here and Doug Upstone thinks readers should take St. Louis as heavy chalk.
Pick: Rams -11
Carolina comes in off their BYE and will be hoping to get things started with a road win over Arizona. After looking at various angles, Jason Lake has opted for the Panthers with his sports picks.
Pick: Panthers -1.5
Have we figured out whether Peyton Manning is indeed a human or not? He's been on quite the roll, a large reason why I'm recommending a play on Denver as road chalk.
Pick: Broncos -7
Texans vs. 49ers
The 49ers sure did look dominant last week, but this seems like a lot of points to be giving a well-rounded team like Houston. Adam Ritota agrees and has locked down the Texans at +6.5.
Pick: Texans +6.5
So it appears as if Terrelle Pryor has done enough in practice to reclaim the starting spot for this weekend's game. However, that's not enough to stop Jason Lake from taking San Diego in Week 5.
Pick: Chargers -4
After an embarrassing showing on both sides of the ball against Tennessee, the Jets need to do a lot better against Atlanta to avoid a similar beatdown. Jordan Sharp doesn't see that happening and is selecting the Falcons.
Pick: Falcons -9[gameodds]16/226944/?r-1=19-43-349-192/us[/gameodds]
