Let’s take a look at these two-team teasers, which payout the same as a straight bet at -110.

NFL Week 4 Teaser picks

YTD: (7-2)

We had our first losing weekend in teasers in Week 3, however we are still crushing it this season, and I have two more teasers this week for our NFL picks that I have a lot of faith in.

Chiefs & Cardinals

The Chiefs get to host the hapless Giants at home this week, and the NFL Odds have the Chiefs as -4 ½ favorites. Even though it would mean crossing zero, I have to like the Chiefs in this one. The Giants’ pass rush is not working so well right now, which is their best weapon. With no running game to speak of either, the Chiefs’ defense will not have a hard time guessing which plays Eli Manning and the offense will be running.

Also something to consider is the Chiefs’ ability to run the ball and keep it out of the hands of the Giants’ offense. Jamaal Charles has been outstanding so far this season, and the Giants rank 27th in the NFL in rushing yards against so far this season. I see the Chiefs winning easily in this one.

On the other side, the Cards head across country to Tampa Bay this week, and even though it’s a tough matchup, recent developments have given me confidence in the Cards this week as underdogs. The Bucs benched Josh Freeman and are going with unproven rookie quarterback, Mike Glennon to start this game.

Even though the Cards’ defense is not as good as some suspected, they can still put a lot of pressure on the rookie in this game, and teasing the Cards from +2 ½ to +8 ½ seems like a lot of value right now. The Cards have been great at stopping the run so far this season, and when you have a rookie QB who is forced to make plays, it normally turns out better for the other side.

My Pick: Chiefs +1 ½ & Cardinals +8 ½ @ Bet365

Bears & Colts

The Bears are on the road in Detroit this week and the NFL odds have them as +3 underdogs. This is the perfect opportunity to tease the Bears up to +9 against a Lions team that could lose this game outright. The Lions do get Reggie Bush back for this game, but the Bears’ defense has been very good at stopping the run so far this year.

Chicago is a bit banged up on defense with the loss of Henry Melton and the injury to Charles Tillman, but I still think the Bears have the most value here at +9. Chicago’s offense should take full advantage of the Lions’ below average defense and I see a nice cover here for the Bears.

The Colts get to play the hapless Jaguars in this one, and even though they are on the road again, can anyone see them losing to Jacksonville a week after beating the Niners on the road? That would be the single worst weekly turnaround in NFL history.

That’s why I think teasing the Colts from -7 ½ to -1 ½ is a great value this week. I can’t see the Colts winning by less than a touchdown, so -1 ½ should be plenty safe to add to the Bears this week as our second teaser pick for the Week 4 NFL Odds.

My Pick: Bears +9 & Colts -1 ½ @ Bookmaker
