Week 14 marks the start to the final quarter of the NFL season, and this week is ripe with prop value. This article will focus on team props, and while you can check out my player prop picks tomorrow morning, let’s see if there is any value staring us in the face this week.

All of these NFL Odds are courtesy of Bet365.

Touchdown totals

Vikings vs. Ravens

The word out of Baltimore is snow and lots of it this Sunday, and if it rolls in around game time, that could mean a low score. The total in the NFL odds for this game has already dropped, however the touchdown total from bet365 seems like even better value that trying for an under bet this week.

At 4.5 touchdowns, four or less TDs from these two teams would result in a +130 cash, making it extra valuable if the weather turns bad. The Ravens’ defense has been outstanding recently, and with how bad the Vikings’ offense has been, I doubt there will be many touchdowns from them this week. The Vikings have failed to score more than two touchdowns per game over their last three games.

The Ravens’ offense is a bit of a concern, but they have been anything but consistent this season. Joe Flacco will likely try and exploit the Vikings through the air, but if the wind is blowing and there is snow, that might be difficult. I could see a messy game in Baltimore this weekend, and the value is there for an under bet on the touchdown total.

My Pick: UNDER 4.5 TDs (+130)

Raiders vs. Jets

The weather could easily move up the east coast and affect the New York metro area, and the Jets and Raiders game could be affected. This is another very low spread and low total game, and the touchdown total of 4.5 is prime for an under bet. It doesn’t have as much value as the Vikings and Ravens, but it should serve as a nice bet this week, despite the chalk on the under at -130.

The total of 40 points would suggest that there likely won’t be more than two touchdowns for either team in this game, and if the weather comes or not, it could easily be less than that for these two offenses. The Jets have failed to score an offensive touchdown in their last two games, and they have only gotten into the end zone four times in their last five games.

The Raiders coming all the way across country could really affect them as well, but their defense will be more than enough to stop the Jets’ offense. On the flip side, the Jets are one of the best defenses in the NFL outside of some pass issues, and if they put it all together, this game might be a field goal battle down to the wire. The chalk is frustrating, but it’s there for a reason. I think this could be one of the better wagers of the week, so we'll take the under once again for our NFL pick.

My Pick: UNDER 4.5 TDs (-130)
