4-6 Philadelphia are still in the thick of the NFC East hunt & the NFL odds show as much. They'll try to get back on track when travelling to 3-7 Detroit to kick off the Thanksgiving games.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -1 -105 at Pinnacle
The NFL odds for this game opened up at -1 for the Eagles on the road and has bounced all over the place. It went down to a pick 'em, then back to -1, quickly to -2 and then -1.5. It dropped to -1, then back to a pick 'em and then -1, which is where it sits as of Tuesday. The Eagles' 45-17 loss at home to Tampa Bay has many thinking that Chip Kelly could be on the way out as it was a complete meltdown on both sides of the ball. Giving up 45 points to the Bucs will get some attention, but Kelly is supposed to be an offensive genius; the Eagles have scored 19 points or less in three of their last four games. On the other hand, the Lions won their second in a row with an 18-13 win over Oakland. Their defense has allowed 29 points in those two games, and if they keep it up, they'll have the Philly offense a ton of trouble.

For the Eagles, TE Zach Ertz is trying to clear the concussion protocol to get ready for Thursday, but it will be close. T Jason Peters is still on the shelf with a bad back and is questionable, while QB Sam Bradford was throwing in practice on Monday. However, it's unlikely that he'll be back with his separated shoulder. RB Ryan Mathews is also in the concussion program as well. These injuries aren't helping matters for the Eagles.

The Lions don't have any new major injuries to deal with. They didn't practice on Monday and WR Calvin Johnson would have been limited with an ankle injury, but that is more because he is a veteran, not because he is in danger of missing this game.

The Eagles are also 4-6 ATS so far this season, posting a 2-3 ATS road record. The Lions are 3-7 ATS in 2015, covering in just one of their five home games. The total is set at 45, down from 46.5, and the Eagles have gone over just three times this season. The Lions have gone over in five games.

The Lions are 2-7-1 SU and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Eagles, who are 2-0-1 SU and 2-1 ATS in Detroit. The two tied 23-23 back on November 4th, 1984.
