We have been mixing up our picks with two-team parlays all season, and I am back once again this week for a huge week of the NFL. We missed the final leg of our two-team parlay last week, as the Bengals choked it away to the Ravens. However I think the value is even better this week in the NFL odds.

Check out SBRs NFL Week 11 Betting Odds Report

Lions vs. Steelers

The Lions have been one of the more pleasant surprises in the NFC this season, and with a win here they could really put some distance between themselves and the Bears and Packers who have major QB issues right now.

A week after edging out the Bears, the Lions head on the road into Pittsburgh to play the Steelers. The NFL Odds have the Lions as -1 favorites against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, with a total of 47 ½. Even though the Steelers have played much better football at home this season, I see the Lions as too big of a mismatch for the Steelers here.

Detroit’s pass rush should have a good game here against the Steelers’ offensive line, and even though they have underperformed this season getting sacks, the Detroit defense is still very capable of putting pressure onto Ben Roethlisberger in this game.

The Lions’ offense is also clicking right now much better than the Steelers have been. Despite LeVeon Bell’s emergence, the Steelers still struggle to run the ball some, and Roethlisberger is not in a position to throw for 400 yards every week and carry the team. Those days are over, and I don’t think every one has realized it yet.

Although they don’t play one another very often, the Lions are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall against the Steelers, and Pittsburgh is only 3-5-1 ATS in their last nine home games. Once again I think Pittsburgh is overvalued at home, so take the Lions as the first leg to our parlay.

Patriots vs. Panthers

The Monday night game should be a stellar one between the Patriots and Panthers from Charlotte. The NFL odds have the Panthers as -1 favorites, with a total of 46 points. New England hasn’t played great this season, but a week after their bye, they should be healed and rested for this tough game.

Aquib Talib might make his way back for this game which would put a damper on Steve Smith and the Panthers’ passing game, however right now, his status is still up in the air. It is for this and several other reasons I like Cam Newton and company in this one.

New England is only 1-4-1 ATS in their last six road games, and even though they don’t play one another very often, the Panthers have owned New England in their history against one another, going 4-1 ATS versus New England.

I see the Panthers’ defense playing well here at home, and even though the Pats are rested, I see them falling short on the road, as they have done so many times this season. For the second and final leg of our parlay, take the Panthers, for your NFL picks, also laying just one point.

NFL Picks: 2-team parlay Lions -1 and Panthers -1 (+260)
