The two things that come to mind as we enter the NFL Week 10 are the huge amount of injuries, aside from the New England Patriots. Let's take a look at some of the value picks in the NFL.

Minnesota Vikings at Oakland Raiders: The Raiders Have a Star Quarterback!
Some folks haven't noticed, but there's a new star emerging in the NFL and his name is Derek Carr. The Raiders have been a team that's never had a superstar quarterback in their existence...until now.

For the season, Carr has thrown for 2094 yards with 19 TD and 4 INT's. It also helps that he has targets such as Amari Cooper and a revitalized Michael Crabtree to throw the football. Crabtree is outperforming every receiver on his former team, the San Francisco 49'ers.

The question is, can Carr maintain this pace as he's dealing with a Minnesota Vikings team that has improved this year and has one of the best running backs in the league in Adrian Peterson? While it certainly would be nice for Teddy Bridgewater to mix up the offense a bit with new found receivers such as Stefan Diggs, Peterson is accepted in this league again and is producing. This game should be a very competitive game of two teams on the rise.

New England Patriots at New York Giants: Patriots' Cryptonite
Just think, if Tom Brady and the New England Patriots never had to deal with Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin, they would have an undefeated season and 6 Super Bowls. For some reason, Eli and the Giants are a poor matchup for New England.

That said, Brady has been on fire this season, throwing just 2 interceptions (one not his fault) and having the best passer percentage rating in the league. This is all due to "Deflate-Gate" and Tom Brady has taken this personal. Brady is playing mad, at 38 years of age, and is the best quarterback in the league and possibly the best football player to lace up a pair of cleats ever.

Of course it helps to have slot man, Julian Edelman, who's one of the best receivers in the league and Rob Gronkowski, who is the best tight end in the league. Take these players away and Brady would still be winning. He doesn't know any other way.

"Giant" Miscues
As for Eli Manning and the Giants, they should have a better record by 2 games if it weren't for bone-headed mistakes. Maybe Eli should get a cat scan as he's never misses a game and takes tons of punishment.

What the Giants really lack is a solid running game and that will hurt them in the end. It's nice to have outlets such as Odell Beckham Jr and Reuben Randle, but a good team combines the pass with the run. Luckily for the Giants, the Dallas Cowboys have been plagued by injuries and the Cowboys are out of the running for the division, therefore there is less pressure on the Giants. While Eli Manning thrives in the post-season, this is the regular season. Take New England to cover.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks: Arizona Offense vs. Seattle Defense
Coming off of a couple of wins, the Seattle Seahawks are back in the post-season hunt as there was fear that the Seahawks were done for the season. In actuality, they should have one less win as the Detroit Lions were screwed by a bad call where the ball got knocked out of the endzone ,if you recall several weeks back.

That's in the past and the Seahawks must face Carson Palmer and the high powered Arizona Cardinals. This will be no easy task as Palmer has stayed healthy and really found a home in Arizona and has revived, future hall of famer, Larry Fitzgerald's career.

With Fitzgerald and Michal Floyd, the Seahawks secondary has something to worry about. Actually, Seattle should worry about their offense as Marshawn Lynch has had a terrible season, the Seahawks have done a poor job of getting Jimmy Graham integrated into the offense, and Russell Wilson hasn't played his best either. Maybe giving away the Super Bowl last season has affected the Seahawks more than people have thought.

This game is definitely more important for Seattle than it is for the Cardinals. Even though Arizona has been the far better squad, look for Seattle to rise to the occasion at home; a place where they dominate.
