Join us as we preview the Total NFL Odds currently trading for the AFC and NFC Championship game and serve up our OVER/UNDER predictions for your penultimate NFL betting thrills.

Packers vs. Seahawks O/U 46.5
Sports betting shops opened the total on 47-points in early NFL odds but the number has come down by half-a-point since at some shops. Oscillating on that half-a-point, solid betting has come in both sides of the coin. Almost split down the middle with 55% leaning on the OVER and 45% leaning on the UNDER.

Packers boast the No.1 offense, which is one reason why the OVER is a good bet. Packers' offense averages 30.4-points per game, along with 266.3 passing yards per game and 119.8 rushing yards per game. In the postseason, albeit on the strength of one game, the Packers came up with 297 passing yards and 119 rushing yards and 26-points.

Seattle Seahawks are no slouches on offense, although their hailed for defensive prowess. They averaged 24.6 points per game over the course of the season, passing for an average of 203.1 and rushing for an average of 172.6 yards per game. Over the course of their seven-game winning streak, they've averaged 23.6-points per game. The story though is their stingy defense that has allowed an average of 15.9 points per game in the regular season and a ridiculously paltry 8-points on average down the stretch in their last seven wins. Needless to say, if defense proves to be the dominating storyline in this rematch, the UNDER is sure to cash on your NFL picks.

Having said that the NFL betting trends between these two sides lean towards the OVER. The total has gone over in 14 of Green Bay's last 21 games, in 12 of their last 18 road games and the in four of their last 6 games when playing Seattle. These trends suggest this could be more of an offensive shootout than a defensive grind. Hanging our hat on these trends, we're going with the OVER 46.5 on our NFL picks.

Colts vs. Patriots 0/U 53.5
Market sentiment is leaning towards the OVER 53.5-points set for this matchup, and for good reason. Not only do the Patriots and Colts boast high-octane offenses that can put up points in a hurry but previous NFL betting trends between this pair have resulted in veritable shootouts on the scoreboard. The Patriots doing most of the firing.

Tom Brady and Company put up 35 points in their 35-31 win over the Ravens, which is in keeping with their scoring trends for the season in general and at home. On average, the Patriots have scored almost 30-points per game, a number that swells up to almost 40-points at the Foxboro particularly from the second month of the season and onwards.

The last meeting between the Patriots and Colts went 42-20, comfortably cashing on the OVER 58.5-point total set for the game in sports betting markets. Andrew Luck and the Colts are actually 0-3 SU and ATS against the Patriots, highlighted by a run of OVERs in all three games as they were outmuscled, outplayed and outscored 144-66. In other words, Tom Brady and the Patriots have been able to hang an average of 48-points on the Colts in their last three meetings while the Colts have countered with an average of 22-points. If that trend holds true this weekend, this game should cash on the OVER handily on your NFL picks.
